Here’s another quick post with some pics from my trip to Vegas for WPPI. I hope in the next couple days to have a few more up from my amazing class with Mike Colon and Ray Santana as well as the trip I organized to the Neon Graveyard as well as the trip to the Ghost Town later that evening. I met some awesome people during this trip – some definite lasting friendships have been made (I hope!). I also learned SO MUCH MORE than my sadly stolen D300 is worth. It still burns a smidge – I won’t lie! – but I know that the value of what I came away from this trip with is priceless. If the cost of the knowledge and friendships was the D300 so be it
Who’s coming next year?!

Whew! What a week (and a little more) this last trip was! I met a lot of amazing people, learned a lot of new things and got to see places that I’ve never been before. More will be coming in the days following – I don’t want to bombard you […]
I’ve managed to survive WPPI so far! For the past two days I had a workshop with Mike Colon and it was pretty gosh-darn amazing. I can’t wait to get home and work on my pictures and see everything full sized. The first day I felt like a toddler learning how […]
We got quite blasted this weekend with snow. I honestly do not know if I’ll be dug out before I leave on Tuesday for Las Vegas. There’s about 20 inches that fell and there are snowdrifts up to 3 feet! Quite amazing really. I don’t know if I’ve seen quite […]
It’s a VERY low quality video… but for those of you that have never experienced a thundersnow you may like it blurred edges and all. It was 4AM so I was a bit blurry myself but the weather geek inside of me had to try and get this on tape!
