• Ashley and Adam came to me via a referral from Adam’s cousin, Craig and Ashley’s friend Erin.  As neither Craig nor Erin know each other, it’s kind of crazy how the world works sometimes!

• They chose Chagrin Falls as their engagement session location because this is where Adam proposed a year ago!  I love when the places chosen have extra special meaning.

• I love, love, loved their attire. Comfortable, casual but still cute.  Ashley didn’t bring a change of outfits… but she brought a change of shoes.  My kind of girl!

• This was the epitome of the perfect fall day in October (yes, I’m a wee bit behind in blogging!).  The leaves had just started to change, the sun was warm and the temps were perfect (mid 70’s).  Looking outside into the winter wonderland taking place here today, I miss these days so much!

We met up at the famous Chagrin Falls Popcorn Shop and I couldn’t help but snap a shot before starting the session, how cute is this place?

 

You always have to have a few ‘Mom’ shots, meaning if I don’t get a standard shot like this, Moms generally get upset 🙂

 

After I know Mom Shots are covered, I then know I can play with shots like these that are just a bit more fun!  Ashley, you are SO beautiful!

 

The light was SO fantastic this day – which is why I love to start my engagement sessions when I do (1 hour or so before sunset) but the light by the base of the falls was even more magical.  Ashley is a trooper and went down some steep steps to get here for the pictures… in some serious high heels!

I just had to have them stop back by the popcorn shop for a photo op when I saw that the crowds had cleared from earlier!

The shoe change… into some sexy Louboutins!  If you know me… you know I love my Loubs so these suckers made me swoon juuust a bit!
