Lakeshore Reservation Portrait Session with Sarah and Andrew

Ohio weather is a fickle and tricky thing, especially in the autumn.  You never quite know what the weather will be like and it really could be anything from 30 and snowing to 80 and sweltering at the beginning of October (seriously, I’ve had both during sessions this time of year).  Leaves are also another gamble.  While there’s a general idea of when they’ll start popping you never quite know for sure when and if they’ll be dull or vibrant.  Due to the lack of rain this summer the leaves were a bit delayed and just meh come the time for Sarah and Andrew’s session which was a bit of a bummer and to trump that as I pulled into Lakeshore Reservation to meet them my car popped up with a gale warning.  It wasn’t a joke, the winds were ridiculous!!!  However Sarah, Andrew and their dog Prince powered through the wind and we had a lovely time together.

Their adorable dog Prince, their black and white Pomeranian is ridiculous.  He’s so darn cute and he tends to walk a bit crooked and it seriously just melts your heart.  He was a joy to work with and I loved his little outfits.  This has been the year of the dog and I couldn’t be more excited (there’s more to come on the blog!).

Thank you both for trusting me to capture your portrait session!  Give Prince a hug for me!
