This spring has been the spring of babies!  I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting them all quite yet (and one of them lives in New Orleans) but the ones I have been lucky enough to meet have been absolutely precious.  Last week, I had the pleasure of getting to meet Anderson and take pictures of him as a newborn on his actual birth day, which I haven’t done since my niece Gabby was born.  Anderson’s parents are good friends of ours and I photographed their wedding last summer.  Anderson’s sister Ramona is one of our FAVORITE kiddos and I was excited to photograph her meeting her new baby brother and it could NOT have gone better.  She leapt right in and wanted to hold him, cuddle him and even helped feed him.  Congratulations to you all, he’s absolutely adorable!

 

When Ramona arrived she was a bit cautious at first but within minutes she’d warmed up to the new baby brother and was right next to him.

He’d not been keen on eating too much thus far in the day but when his sister fed him his bottle he immediately went to town.  She did SUCH a great job feeding him.

I couldn’t get enough of the raised pinkie when feeding her brother.

You can tell just how excited she was about her new brother!

She held him a couple times and he was very enchanted with her as well.  His eyes kept following her.  I think he was excited to meet her as well and finally put a face to the voice.

His grandparents also got the joy of meeting him as well.

Ramona also got ice cream – I’d say that was a good day for a toddler!

I know it’s not technically a smile yet but all the same, Anderson was smiling when his Grandfather held him for the first time.

Ramona climbed up in her grandfather’s lap and this made yet another favorite image from the day.  LOVE how Anderson is looking at Ramona and checking her out.
