Due to bad weather and unforeseen circumstances, Jenny and Joe’s engagement session ended up being a week before their wedding. While it’s not ideal, I actually have had some of my best engagement sessions with couples when it’s that close to their wedding date. This session was no different! I loved these two and was so excited that their wedding was literally around the corner when the day was done. They were great to work with and such good people. Despite the winds and the chill in the air, they trooped through it all! Their wedding will be on the blog soon!
The way they giggle together makes my heart happy 🙂
One of my favorite relaxed engagement portraits ever.
So sweet right?
While it wasn’t one of Lake Erie’s famous sunsets it still was worthy of a backdrop!
It started getting chilly so they were more than happy to do some cuddling!
Fun fact: it was Joe’s birthday the day of our session!
Finishing out the evening in the dark with some lighting assistance from a light pole. Love the way this turned out!
