• Getting engagement shoots nailed down sometimes can be a bit tricky especially when the clients are living out of town. Every time Ashley and Ryan came in from Chicago, I was out of town or the weather was awful. Last Friday the weather was awful yet again but due to the wedding date fast approaching, we decided to go for it anyways.
• This was probably the quickest shoot I’ve ever done for an engagement session. It was raining and windy and pretty much miserable weather but they were good sports and withstood the crappy weather for a few quick portraits.
• The session took place at Skyland Pines where the wedding will be held in less than a month.
• Through the whole session Ryan couldn’t stop laughing! I think the wedding day is going to be a lot of fun!
• Look for these guys to return in May – hopefully a bit drier this go around!
The wind was really whipping that rain around, guys have it so much easier with the shorter hair!
I think this was after one brutal burst of rain and wind. They were champs!
We flopped positions so that at least Ashley’s hair would blow behind her and Ryan blocked the wind a bit for her, it definitely helped!
I love this image!
The wind let up a bit so I had them take a quick stroll along the path.
A quick cuddle in the rain before we were finished!
Thanks for being such troopers guys!!!
