Engagement session at Ault Park in Cincinnati with Jenna and Marc

Sorry, dear blog, for neglecting you! It’s been a crazy end of the year and I still have two more weddings to go! One is out of state (Connecticut!) and one is home so the end of the year is going to be quite crazy (then there’s that Christmas thing in between the two). Hopefully this dear blog will see some more consistent love after the new year as I still have lots of things to blog and lovely images to show you. If you get antsy make sure to like the Facebook Page and pop over from time to time as everything there is pretty up to date. Facebook has been pretty nutty with how things appear lately so I apologize if anyone misses anything!

Octobers are always my busiest month and Jenna and Marc’s session came on the heels of one of the busiest weeks I’d had in quite some time. Normally the long drive to Cincy makes me tired but it was honestly lovely to just have some quiet time where I didn’t feel guilty for not editing, blogging and could just veg and listen to Entertainment Weekly Radio (my latest XM obsession). I had never been to Ault Park but the images online were beautiful and in person it was even more stunning. Jenna and Marc chose well! There were so many beautiful nooks and crannies to this location and I can see what it’s a popular place for photographs! The leaves were beautiful and the sun was warm and it was a picture perfect day for a session.

I photographed Marc’s brother’s wedding a few years ago (as well as his cousin’s) so I was familiar with Marc and excited to work with the family again. Jenna and Marc are just too sweet together. They opted to switch up their outfit midway through the session, which I always love! I also thought it was perfect the brought along props for their engagement session but I had to smile when the coffee came out because the engagement session before theirs did as well! Must be a coffee cup kind of year but I have to confess: I love this! It’s not a dated prop and it keeps you warm and cozy to boot!

I can’t wait to work with these two again in the spring!!
