2009 Year in Review: The Weddings

If I thought that 2008 was an amazing year, 2009 was even more spectacular.  2009 brought me 24 weddings, all shot as a primary shooter and I count the full day I spent shooting weddings on Valentine’s Day in Las Vegas as one LOL.  All weddings were shot between May – the first week of November leaving me with only 4 weekends off from the start of my wedding season until the end.  I was one busy woman!  Luckily, I made the decision to go Mac so editing was a lot smoother than it was in 2008 and almost all of my couples had their wedding proofs online in under a week.  My weddings took me all over Ohio this year, from Cleveland, to Canton and everywhere in between and beyond.  I shot in churches (old and new), fields, gazebos, lakes and more.  Out of all of these weddings only ONE wedding was unable to have pictures outside due to rain (and we improvised by doing pictures on the porch and outside when the rain slowed down).  I had a fantastic year and am looking forward to another one in 2010 that will start in Cleveland and then take me to the Dominican Republic in March and back here in May to start off the rest of the wedding season in Ohio.  I can’t wait!
