Man on man, what a glorious wedding day Katie and Chris had!  I got SO lucky with my September weddings in 2019!!  I always get nervous when I have a bunch of outdoor ceremonies but they all had stunning days with beautiful weather!

I started my day with Katie and her girls at The Westfield Inn where they got ready.  Lots of fun was had by these ladies – so many giggles and laughs and everyone was helping Katie in any way they could.  Meanwhile my second Michael was with the guys who were getting ready over at the Blair Conference Center as they got spiffy for the day’s events.

Katie and Chris opted to do a first look since they were doing their events back to back and trusted me to choose the location.  Many clients would have raised an eyebrow with the lovely shaded nook I found in the back corner of the parking lot but these two just rolled with it and after the first look went happily into the beautiful field behind the inn.

After the bridal party photos beneath the overhang by the inn to keep everyone as cool as possible we headed over to the Blair Conference Center for their ceremony!  It had been a while since I’d photographed a wedding at the Blair Center but I still loved their beautiful tent they have for ceremonies!  The draping is so pretty!  Their vows were beautiful and soon enough they said I DO!

While the cocktail party took place we finished up their family portraits and did a few more with the bridal party before ending with just a few more of the bride and groom before heading inside for the party.  The toasts were perfect and the dancing was SO great.  I love a fun dance floor and Sound Waves kept it hopping all night long!
