“It’s just John!”
Molly said this over and over all day to people when they’d question her about her potential nerves or get a bit misty eyed at the thought of the meaning behind their day. When Molly would say this, she would have this huge, infectious grin on her face and the tone of the answer was part laugh all said with a twinkle in her eye. That quote perfectly encapsulated the day for me. Yes, it was a BIG deal what the day was about but at the end of the day it was “just John” and she was “just Molly” and they were just making official what has been true in their hearts for a while – they were partners for life and now, it’s just legal as well as spiritual.
All day Molly and John had huge smiles on their face. They were goofy, giddy and full of love – just one you should be on your wedding day. Their first look didn’t have an ounce of nerves but rather excitement because they could FINALLY see each other and chat. They requested some alone time afterwards just so they could talk and catch up. They are not only husband and wife but best friends. However, if you know them and are reading this you don’t need to be told because everyone knows who know them.
Also, I kind of want to be part of the Molly’s group of friends. That group of bridesmaids were so.much.fun and were so sweet to be with all day. They were on TOP of it all day making sure that Molly didn’t need or want for anything – makeup retouches, water, food – you name it, they had it covered. They even brought me chocolate covered strawberries and insisted I eat them. The guys were pretty darn awesome too! Their families? Well, as you can imagine since they raised two really lovely people – they were equally as wonderful. It was just a beautiful day with beautiful people. Thank you for trusting me with such an important day.

I loved Molly’s dresses and her bridesmaid gowns!
This may be one of my most favorite getting ready images ever.
Molly and her father had a sweet moment after he saw her all dressed up.
John and his guys got ready in a room upstairs and they just kept laughing.
John’s reaction was all smiles when he saw Molly for the first time.
Their first look went perfectly!
How gorgeous is Molly??? Love!
I really loved the look of the bridesmaids gowns – especially how her Maid of Honor’s gown was slightly different but a similar look.
They had some really fun sunglasses!
I really liked the guys grey suits with the blue.
I really liked the white and blue pocket squares.
What a great looking bridal party! I really liked the navy and grey.
LOVE Molly’s hairpiece!
Seriously, these two are too cute together.
See what I mean about them being goofy together?
The ceremony overlooked the beautiful grounds at Brookside Country Club.
There were a few tears and a lot of giggles during the ceremony.
The kiss!
This sweet little ring bearer was totally not having it that day and this picture makes me laugh every time I see it.
The ballroom was gorgeous and I loved all of the colors.
The centerpieces were perfect!
The cake topper was made of two of their grandparents cake toppers and I loved the nod to their family with them.
The Best Man’s toast was HILARIOUS and complete with a slideshow, song and backup band made up of the groomsman and friends.
The cake cutting went perfectly.
The first dance was lovely.
The parent dances were sweet and perfect.
I loved seeing these grandparents dancing. They were soooo sweet and adorable to watch all night long.
I had fun playing with the rings.
We had a gorgeous sunset view and the sunset reminded me of Gone With the Wind.
One thing I loved about their reception is they had not only the ballroom but they also set up things outside so their guests could go outside and enjoy a cigar and drinks on the patio and lawn. There was even a firepit!
The bouquet toss was awesome…
This picture never fails to make me laugh.
John removed the garter with his teeth… as you do.
John tossed the garter three times before it made it to someone. Ha!
Before I left Molly sung to John and it was so sweet and fun. What a great night!!
