I love when I have weddings that are booked based on referrals from past clients. Not only is it the best compliment that I can recieve since they loved their photos enough to refer me but I also have noticed that these clients always trust me completely from the get go. Much was the same with Brittany and John. They were already such a sweet and easy going couple but their trust in me was immediately apparent and it made for a great day!
It took quite a while for me to finally have my first cold wedding last year and unfortunately it was on their date. The day was a bit gloomy and spitting snow off and on but Brittany and John (and their bridal party!) were all game for a few photos outside. It was a quick run through pictures but I am so glad they braved the elements for it!
Thank you both SO much for trusting me with your photos! Also another thank you to the wonderful vendors I worked with – Chenoweth and DJ Kurt are wonderful to work with and I highly recommend them both!
How amazing are Brittany’s eyes?! Holy moly she has stunnnning eyes. Especially with those lashes!
Their daughter is the cutest thing ever!
Guys have it so easy when it comes to getting ready! Put on a coat and fiddle with the shirt and tie = done!
Soon enough it was time for the ceremony. Brittany’s Dad was so proud to walk her down the aisle.
I love sneaky smiley looks during the ceremony!
I had not photographed a wedding ceremony at St. Joseph Parish before but man what a beautiful church!
They were SUCH good sports about going outside in the bitter cold! Thank you!
Can you tell it was cold?
Kisses always help keep you warm?
These two are so sweet together!
The bridal party braved the elements for a few quick photos.
I looooooove these bridesmaids gowns. SO SO SO MUCH. So elegant and beautiful.
I haven’t done jumping bridal party photos in eons but they wanted to do one and it turned out hilariously perfect.
I love the centerpieces SO much. They had photos they had taken through their relationship framed inside clear ornaments on mirrors with candles and fairy lights. It was soooo pretty and made for a fun conversational piece with their photos. It was perfect and lovely for a winter wedding.
Tiffany’s Bakery did a great job with the cake and cupcakes!
This cracked me up when I came across the photo during editing!
Their first dance was perfect!
During their father/daughter dance Brittany and her dad were obviously planning something and then this happened. I laughed and laughed and loved this image so much. This is so something my Dad and I would have done as well.
John and his Mom went for a more traditional dance and that was perfect as well.
The bouquet toss went off without a hitch as well as the garter toss!
Their rings are gorgeous and I love the blue line on John’s ring!
