The Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade was the perfect spot to be on a Friday evening near the end of October when the temperatures were starting to cool and the wind from the lake began to have a bite.  Often when the temps turn like this, clients worry that they won’t be able to go outdoors but with a venue like the Hyatt?  Well, that’s not a worry because it’s SUCH a gorgeous venue that the outdoors is barely needed.  Sure, there are amazing spots nearby but if you want to stay warm and cozy where you are?  Well, you’re at the right place.  This is absolutely one of my favorite venues in Cleveland because it’s just so darn beautiful.  It’s hard to find a bad spot for a photo!  It was the perfect setting for Robyn and George’s wedding and I am elated they chose me to document their beautiful day.

I’m SUCH a girl sometimes but one of the things  about weddings I love is wedding dresses and how different and beautiful they can be.  My own wedding gown was a bit unconventional so I love it when brides go for a bit of an offbeat path (but the traditional ones woo me too!).  Robyn’s dress though, just wow.  It may be my favorite gown from the year.  It was so absolutely stunning and PERFECT for their venue.  It fit her perfectly and suited her well.  Gush gush gush!  LOVE!  You will understand in a minute and perhaps have a bit of gown obsession with me.

George was putting the final touches on his letter to Robyn when I popped into his room.

I still can’t get over how GORGEOUS this dress is.  I loved how not only the coloring but also the styling of the dress suited the Arcade. Bonus?  It was light as a feather – well at least compared to most bridal gowns anyway!

Seriously.  This gown was MADE to be worn at the Hyatt Regency at The Arcade, wasn’t it???

These two were just so darned sweet together.

One thing I love about this venue is that while the cocktail hour is going on I can run around and get views from a ton of angles, including one from afar.

I can also run around and get images of the reception setup without being too far from the cocktail hour which is nice.

I loved the colors of the hydrangeas on the centerpieces!  They were the perfect vibrant pops of color for the room.

They had a small bridal party (one attendant each) which I loved.  Here is Robyn’s sister giving a sweet toast to the new couple.

They danced the night away under the stars of the sky and it was a wonderful night!
