This month has been such a perfect month weather wise for weddings. The past few years June has been either hot and muggy or rainy. This year we’ve had perfect temperatures in the mid 70’s, low humidity and abundant sunshine. The days there has been rain we’ve lucked out with it burning off before the wedding gets underway! In the past 7 years I don’t recall any summers quite as ideal as this has been – even all of the crazy flash floods we’ve had have stuck to midweek! The day Krys and Megan got married it was the same – bright sun, mild temperatures and a perfect day!
The Grand Pacific Outdoor Wedding Gardens is a new venue to me and still quite new itself. I’ve never been there before and I was completely charmed by this unassuming little surprise in Olmsted Falls! It was the perfect setup for a wedding and I hope to return here someday soon! The ceremony was early in the morning which enabled us to have a long time for pictures afterwards and even a bite to eat! The reception started in the evening at another new venue, Shale Creek Golf Course in Medina and it was a great evening for everyone. I loved all of the personal touches that Megan had made for the wedding! It was so fun to see and I can’t wait to show you them all!

I was pretty much enchanted with every single detail Megan created for her wedding. How adorable is the greeting into the ceremony area on the left? I LOVE it and how creative it is. The ring box was equally as creative and absolutely beautiful!
Isn’t this location just absolutely beautiful for weddings?? A hidden gem I had no idea about!
Yep, these two are just that cute!
They planted a tree together during the ceremony with Megan’s son which I thought was a sweet touch.
After the ceremony we headed over to Coe Lake for some portraits and my favorites were from the little wooded nook that always has amazing light. It’s been a while since I’ve been here!
The guys were so much fun and a great group to be around all day.
However, these two were my favorite!
Take a glance at Megan’s bouquet, isn’t it amazing???? The peonies were heavenly!
I love this bridge!
However… I do love this bridge more! They are getting a bit more stricter about its use but I’m glad we were able to make a quick stop here.
I’m glad that the leaves are hanging in there!
The socks were the perfect fun touch!
This is the custom chalkboard that greeted guests into the reception. I love how it had all of the pertinent information along with a layout for the evening. So creative!
The reception decor was amazing! The cake by West Side Bakery was absolutely beautiful and the centerpieces were perfect – the lanterns were a creative touch that tied in with all of her decor choices.
I got to play with the rings earlier in the evening than usual so I had fun playing around with all of the decor!
Their entrance led into a beautiful first dance to John Legend’s “All of Me”
After their dance they cut their cake.
After dinner the other dances took place and this image of Megan and her father barely holding in the tears made me tear up when editing.
Megan also danced with her son and it was just as adorable as you would imagine it to be.
Everyone had a blast on the dance floor but this little girl had this signature move that was cracking me up all night as she performed it.
Megan also had a photo booth set up in a corner with an iPad and her guests – especially the kids – had a blast with the props and the booth!
Thank you both so much for hiring me!
