October 2020 did bring one thing that was amazing: STUNNING foliage!  The leaves were just so beautiful that year and they stayed that way for a long time due to not getting too many windy/bad storms.  For almost a full month I just had so much lovely backgrounds to work with and Natalie and Cory’s wedding was one of them.  Their photo locations weren’t anything grand but it was Ohio that brought the a-game for the backdrops!

It was my first visit for a wedding at The Event on Sunny Brook and I hope it isn’t my last.  To anyone visiting in the future – the small wooded area off the parking lot opposite the venue is where the second golden batch of foliage images were taken.  For an unassuming location it was SUCH a gem for gorgeous images!  The light was amazing and this was a prime example why I tell my clients not to stress too much over WHERE to go because often, especially in October in November, the light and leaves can easily make a spot you’d easily pass by look AMAZING in photos!

This was SUCH a beautiful and fun wedding day full of big smiles and lots of love!  I adored how Cory kept inching down the aisle towards Natalie as she came down towards him at the ceremony.  It was SO darn cute how excited he was to see her!  From that moment on his eyes rarely left his beautiful bride and he was all smiles!  They had SUCH a high energy reception and I LOVED when Cory busted a move to “Baby” by Justin Bieber with his mom for their Mother/Son dance!  So fun and original!
