Oh how much I loved Allyssa and Christopher’s beautiful The Tanglewood Club wedding in October 2019. The leaves were fantastic on their wedding day and it may forever be my most favorite autumn wedding ever.
I was referred to this couple by Michael Steinberg who has retired from shooting weddings as a primary shooter since photographing Allyssa’s sister’s wedding a few years ago. However, he still likes to second shoot so he joined me for their wedding! It was fun to have someone along who knew the family so well!
I started my day with the girls at the church as they got ready while Michael did the same. After the ceremony we headed to Chagrin Falls and then ended with photos at The Tanglewood Club with Allyssa and Christopher.
While I know it was a bummer to not have Michael as the primary shooter I’m so glad you trusted me to capture your day!

How cute are these flower girls!?
How sweet is Allyssa’s niece helping her get her shoes on?!
Isn’t this photo of Allyssa and her Mom lovely? I am so in love with the neckline of her Lillian West gown!
Allyssa and Christopher wanted to do a first touch with a door but unfortunately there was no doors that would work so we did it around a corner. It worked out pretty well!
After a bit of chatting they read their letters to another which was sweet!
We were then able to squeeze in a first look between Allyssa and her Dad before the ceremony. There is a beautiful outdoor space at Parkside Church and I’m glad we were able to use it.
This flower girl cracked me up!
How sweet are Christopher’s parents?
Their first look!!
The lighting was so dramatic but beautiful at Parkside Church! I loved how the burgundy and navy lit up on the stage.
We hit up the famous Chagrin Falls Popcorn Shop and some kind people moved aside so we could take this photo!
Allyssa was brave enough to climb down onto the rocks for photos with the waterfalls.
How stunning are these ladies? I love the sunflower bouquets with these dresses!
Meanwhile I had Michael do the groom + groomsman photos and… yeah. Boys will be boys?
I love this little nook near the falls, the light is always lovely and the colors are pretty.
Then we were off on our own at The Tanglewood Club. How stunning are these leaves!?
The Tanglewood Club is SUCH a beautiful venue in the autumn!
When the light hit them and the reflection of the trees lit up on the pond I did a happy dance and thankfully these two went along with what I asked them to do.
Mad props to Allyssa’s best friend who came along to help manage the dress and she was a HUGE help!
Meanwhile Michael was capturing the cocktail hour back at the club.
Soon enough it was time for the reception to begin, look at that massive head table!
