Tom’s Country Place Wedding with Stephanie and Dylan

Stephanie and Dylan were such a lovely couple to work with.  They were both so easy going and friendly all day long and both of their families were a dream to work with.  Despite the chill in the air, it was a day that warmed your heart!  I also loved all of the beautiful fall details that were sprinkled throughout the day.

Speaking of chill… There’s typically one weekend in October where the cold arrives unexpectedly and unfortunately it arrived on Stephanie and Dylan’s wedding day.  During the ceremony it was sleeting and snowing but luckily it quit by the time we went out for pictures but it was so chilly that it was a speedy stop in Rocky River (at the same spot that Sarah and Mark went on the same weekend the year before when it was in the 70s!) before heading over to Tom’s Country Place to take advantage of the beautiful landscaping there.  Thankfully everyone was super easy to work with so we were able to get the photos done with quick warm up breaks in between inside.

Thank you both so much for trusting me with your wedding day!

I started the morning out with their rings while the girls filtered in from the salon.  I loved these tiny little pumpkins!

I absolutely adored Stephanie’s look.  Her dress and veil were so beautiful together and the pearls were the perfect touch as accessories.  Isn’t her bracelet amazing?

2015 was the year of dogs and I loved that Stephanie wanted pictures with the two dogs that hold special spots in her heart.  First up was her parents dog who is just so darn cute!  Look at the pose!

Then came Stephanie and Dylan’s adorable lab.  LOVE!

The wedding ceremony was beautiful from beginning to end but the highlights for me came during the processional.

The first moment that will always stick in my head is when the ring bearer showed off the ring box when walking down the aisle.

Stephanie and her father had a tough act to follow but everyone was in awe when they started their walk to Dylan.

Then this emotional moment happened when Stephanie’s father gave her away and everyone had misty eyes – myself included.

I loved their programs.

St. Mary’s is so beautiful!

The kiss!

You can barely see it but there’s a few flakes mixed in with the bubbles.

Once the family formals were over we headed to the Rocky River Reservation for some portraits with the foliage.  It was a beautiful spot but it was pretty chilly.  The bridal party colors looked awesome with the trees!

How beautiful is the ladies looks?  I loved the yellow pashmina with the wine dresses and the flowers.  The sunflowers were such a great and unique touch and I loved that Stephanie had a pashmina to match the ladies gowns.

The guys were giggly and so wonderful to work with!

We ended our moments at the park with these two and Stephanie powered through the cold for the portraits.

Once we arrived at Tom’s and everyone warmed up for a few minutes we went back outside for a few more portraits and Dylan kept Stephanie warm.

Tom’s Country Place has some gorgeous landscaping around the building and I’m so glad we were able to take advantage of it!

They even have a cute gazebo on the grounds we took advantage of.

The cake was so beautiful with all the flowers but the topper with the silhouette of the bride and groom AND THEIR DOG was my favorite!

I loved the different lantern centerpieces that adorned the tables with acorns and leaves.  It was the perfect fall touch!

The cake cutting went well save for a smidgen of icing on the side of Dylan’s mouth.

The toasts were the perfect mixture of sweet and funny.

I love when people have traditions that follow their family or heritage and a polish tradition is for the bride’s mother to remove the bride’s veil.

Their first dance was perfection!

Once the dance floor opened the flower girl and her grandma had a blast dancing (along with most of the guests!).

However the ring bearer had ran out of steam and quickly was found crashed out on his Dad’s lap for most of the rest of the night.
