Wedding: Erin + Tony 06.26.10

•  I think Erin & Tony win for the greatest temperature difference between their engagement shoot (0 with a -20 windchill!) to their wedding (85 +).  It was HOT HOT HOT!!!  However they – as well as the bridal party – were troopers and didn’t complain a second about being outside in the heat.

•  This wedding is the most clients I’ve had at one wedding.  Heidi was the coordinator/friendor and her darling hubby Devin was there, the current bride and groom, her Maid of Honor Christina and fiance’ Matt will be getting married next June and finally Ashley (Erin’s sorority sister) and Adam (Craig’s cousin) will be getting married next August!  Super fun and so neat how they all found me different ways!

•  This wedding was F U N.  Sometimes I do gripe about live bands (they are NOTORIOUS for eating all of the food, including the photographers if it’s in the same room) but they kick up a reception a notch and make it insanely fun.  I had my own plate of yummy food so this band gets an a+ in my book.

•  I think Erin looks like a prettier version of Kate Walsh (whom I adore).  Doesn’t she???

•  Tony was away for much of the planning of this wedding serving our country in Iraq and much of the bridal party and guests were either currently serving or had served in the military.  Much of my family was in the military so it made me happy to see the men so proud to serve.

I started out the day with a quick stop by the bride’s parents house.

This church was gorgeous!

Something I’ve been doing lately with the program if I can during the ceremony!

Part of the Catholic service.

The kiss!  🙂

I seriously adore you Erin!

The good lookin’ group!

I adore these bridesmaid dresses SO much, along with the flowers!!!  So pretty!

Talk about killer shoulder blades!!  Ladies you are awesome!

A bit of an adventure to get to this spot but worth it!

Now just the bride and groom…

My hubby was my assistant this day and he followed the bridal party back to the limo and the girls wanted some more pics!  I LOVE this one he got of the girls in a tree!

Love love love.  These two are just adorable!

I love when a couple just goes along with whatever I suggest, like climbing into weeds because they were pretty, matched the color of the wedding and in good light.  Gold stars for Erin & Tony for not batting an eye!

Erin, you are seriously a beautiful lady, inside and out.

Tony, you are handsomeness personified!

Needless to say… the reception hall was STUNNING!

Erin’s Dad gave a sweet and beautiful speech to Erin & Tony.

The first dance was of course sweet and beautiful.

The band was seriously amazing… if you ever get to hear Shout you’ll understand. WOW.

Playing with the rings = one of my favorite times of the day.  This is probably yet another “FAVORITE!” in the ring shot folder.  LOVE.

Erin’s bouquet was a bunch of single lilies that separated when she tossed them, great idea so that no one is left out!

Guess what song the band was singing??

Journey, “Don’t Stop Believing” – it’s always a hit on the floor and in camera!

Some people end the night with pretty shots of the bride and groom…. how many end their night with the bride playing a killer air guitar?!?  WIN!  Random fact, I graduated with the US Air Guitar Champion.  Until he won the title, I had NO idea there was such a thing!  Erin could TOTALLY enter and win!

A million thanks to the both of you for including me in your special day, it was one for the record books!!!

Other than blue eyes I don’t see the Kate Walsh comparison. Kate Walsh looks like a younger red-haired Catherine Deneuve.

    Lovely pics though.ReplyCancel
