Towards the end of October last year I met up with Elizabeth and Michael for their wedding reception at Crop Bistro in Cleveland.  They had already been married and like Amy and Jeff they were coming back home to celebrate with their families and loved ones.  I had not been to The Crop Bistro before so I arrived a little bit early to scope the venue out.  It is SUCH a fantastic venue for a Cleveland wedding.  Their Skylight Penthouse room is perfect for an evening reception – the views of the Cleveland skyline cannot be beat!

The evening was a super casual and laid back event with lots of love, laughs and plenty of delicious food.  People wandered in and out of the balcony to overlook the skyline as day turned into night and the music from Cleveland Music Group’s Judi Chevrolet kept the dance floor hopping all night long.

Elizabeth and Michael were so sweet together and they were all smiles all night long.  Everyone couldn’t wait to hug them, toast them and give them all of their blessings.  Many congratulations to you both!

It was a cool overcast October day but the sunset turned the sky and EVERYTHING in Cleveland this amazing pink!

Even at night the views don’t stop at the Crop Bistro!

There were lots of adorable kiddos that were the darlings of the reception.

The toasts were casual but so full of love for these two!

Elizabeth’s Mom Joy plays the accordion and man did she play!  It was a wedding first for me and I loved every second of it!

That was it for the “formalities” and the rest of the night was spent conversing with friends and family… and having fun with the kids!

As the evening went on the winds grew outside so most stayed inside but I couldn’t resist a fun long exposure of the room from the balcony.

Never judge a crowd’s danceability by their numbers.  This was the most packed dance floor and it wasn’t a huge group!  All you need are a few fun people and you can have a blast no matter how many or few people you had at your event!  Of course a lot of this is due to an amazing DJ and Judi did a fantastic job!
