{"id":1204,"date":"2010-10-18T23:16:10","date_gmt":"2010-10-19T03:16:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/?p=1204"},"modified":"2011-09-07T20:12:53","modified_gmt":"2011-09-08T00:12:53","slug":"wedding-erica-aaron-elyria-oh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/wedding\/wedding-erica-aaron-elyria-oh","title":{"rendered":"Wedding | Erica + Aaron | Elyria, OH"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u2022 Erica and Aaron booked me over 2 years out from their date for their wedding. \u00a0I know some may think that was excessive but I think it was smart &#8211; as within about a month of their booking I had repeated inquiries for this date (I even had someone move their date since this one was booked to have me!). \u00a0For me, the busiest dates are usually the long weekends bookending the summer &#8211; Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. \u00a0If the 4th of July falls onto a weekend that one also usually books out quickly as well. \u00a0By booking their vendors early in the game, they got the vendors they chose and were able to focus on the other things in their lives (like buying a house!) in the meantime. \u00a0Once your date is set, it&#8217;s never too early to book (I currently already have 12\/31\/12 booked!).<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 I have been looking forward to this wedding for such a long time, it&#8217;s hard to believe it&#8217;s already come and gone! \u00a0I knew that after their <a href=\"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/2009\/10\/engaged-erica-and-aaron\/\" target=\"_blank\">engagement session<\/a> they were going to be a dream to work with the day of their wedding, and they were!<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 One thing that 2+ years of planning can&#8217;t control is the weather. \u00a0However the rain managed to hold off so that we were not only able to shoot outside (although it was crazy windy and cool) but the looming rain gave us some great clouds! \u00a0I know that Erica and Aaron were wondering why I was quite literally doing a happy dance when I saw how spectacular the sky was but they understood when they saw the images.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 I love when I am able to work with personable and awesome videographers that want to work as a team the day of the wedding. \u00a0Props to Attention to Detail for being a dream to work with.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Confession: I love blinky LED lights. \u00a0If there is a blinky LED lit object nearby, you can be assured that I will find a way to own it. \u00a0I have the blinky LED glasses (thank you Royal Caribbean), I have blinky LED sunglasses, of COURSE the necklaces and even a spinny fan that goes on your head and blinks. \u00a0When I walked into their reception and saw that the uplighting was LED lights that strobed I about DIED in\u00a0ecstasy. \u00a0THEN to top it off&#8230; SHE HAD MINI ONES ON HER HEAD TABLE! \u00a0Gah gah gah! \u00a0Erica, you darn near made me get sticky fingers with envy. \u00a0Needless to say, I played when it came to ring shot time&#8230; see below for my favorite ring shot to date (I do say this a lot don&#8217;t I?).<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Nothing makes a reception more awesome than dancing and Erica and Aaron made sure to set the stage for a fun night with their first dance and changing the mood to a club feel once the dancing started for the evening with lower lights, a club style DJ and making the LED lights change and strobe with the music. \u00a0LOVE!<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Wedding Vendors<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bakery: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecakeloft.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Cake Loft<\/a><a style=\"outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline-color: initial; font-weight: inherit; font-style: normal; font-size: 13px; font-family: inherit; vertical-align: baseline; color: #002f5f; text-decoration: none; padding: 0px; margin: 0px;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thecakeloft.net\/\"><br \/>\n<\/a>Ceremony: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gsbcministry.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Good Shepherd Baptist Church <\/a><br \/>\nDay of Coordinator: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.heidzillas.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Heidzillas<\/a><br \/>\nDJ:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/djlokey.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lo Key Entertainment<\/a><br \/>\nFlorist: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ufloral.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">UFloral<\/a><br \/>\nPhotobooth:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.photoboothcleveland.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Photobooth Cleveland<\/a><br \/>\nReception: <a href=\"http:\/\/embassysuites1.hilton.com\/en_US\/es\/hotel\/CLEBHES-Embassy-Suites-Cleveland-Beachwood-Ohio\/index.do\" target=\"_blank\">Embassy Suites Beachwood<\/a><br \/>\nRentals: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lnique.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">L&#8217;Nique<\/a><br \/>\nTransportation:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aolimousine.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">All Occasions Limousine<\/a><br \/>\nVideographer:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.a2ddigital.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Attention to Detail<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/eaw-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"598\" height=\"900\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The ceremony was gorgeous and I adored all of the attention to detail Erica put into it including the petals on the aisle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/eaw-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Congrats to the new couple!!!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/eaw-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I loved this bridal party for being so much fun despite it being a bit chilly!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/eaw-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">You can&#8217;t tell the girls were freezing, they were troopers!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/eaw-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The guys were a bit more prepared for the weather but some were in awe of Lake Erie (having never seen it before) so I went with the &#8220;looking off into the distance&#8221; look to allow them some time to gaze at the lake.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/eaw-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"598\" height=\"900\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Sometimes the traditional pictures are my favorites and this one is a definite favorite from the day!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/eaw-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"598\" height=\"900\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Oh the sky&#8230; the sky! \u00a0It may have been windy and a bit cold but oh the sky was worth this shot!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/eaw-8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Then the sun came out right on cue to illuminate Erica and Aaron and left the dramatic sky behind them. \u00a0FAVORITE!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/eaw-9.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"598\" height=\"900\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This cake was GORGEOUS and delicious as well!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/eaw-10.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The table settings were perfect and I loved how the various shades of purple were carried throughout the room (and the uplighting!!!
