{"id":1206,"date":"2010-10-20T11:26:46","date_gmt":"2010-10-20T15:26:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/?p=1206"},"modified":"2011-09-07T20:12:43","modified_gmt":"2011-09-08T00:12:43","slug":"wedding-andrea-josh-jackson-township-oh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/wedding\/wedding-andrea-josh-jackson-township-oh","title":{"rendered":"Wedding | Andrea + Josh | Jackson Township, OH"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u2022 Andrea emailed me the weekend that she got engaged after stalking me for a few months wanting me to be their photographer. \u00a0I cannot even express how flattering this is! \u00a0Sadly, I was already booked for their date (with Erica and Aaron) and gave them some recommendations for other photographers in the area. \u00a0After deliberating for a bit, they moved their wedding date so that they could hire me. \u00a0It still makes my heart flutter a bit writing this. \u00a0I still can&#8217;t really express into words how amazing that is! \u00a0Needless to say, I loved them from the word go!<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 I adored how Andrea and Josh wound the ribbons of the wedding around their love for each other and their families. \u00a0In lieu of a formal bridal party of friends, Andrea&#8217;s Mom was her Matron of Honor and Josh&#8217;s brother was his Best Man. \u00a0Josh&#8217;s father was the officiant. \u00a0Andrea&#8217;s nieces were the flower girls. \u00a0The favors were take home boxes of cookies that were all made the week of the wedding with family using Andrea&#8217;s grandmother&#8217;s recipes.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Andrea&#8217;s father is no longer with them but his spirit was carried the day through a string of pearls that Andrea&#8217;s mother let her borrow and a tie clip of his that Josh wore. \u00a0I love to see loved ones honored like this!<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The light at Glenmoor was GORGEOUS at the time of their ceremony and reception. \u00a0The way the light streamed in the windows was fantastic! \u00a0The photographer in me gasped in excitement when I saw it!<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Instead of a formal bridal party, they chose to have their friends dress in the wedding colors in clothing they already owned and pose for a few informal pictures.  I LOVED how they chose to do this, no monetary obligations and they were still able to honor them and get a few pictures with them as they would a traditional wedding party. LOL!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/ajw1-15.jpg\" alt=\"groom twirling the bride\" \/><br \/>\nJosh gave Andrea a little twirl during their entrance, LOVED!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/ajw1-17.jpg\" alt=\"best man toast\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><br \/>\nJosh&#8217;s brother gave a wonderful toast that was funny and heartbreakingly sweet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/ajw1-18.jpg\" alt=\"bride during toast\" width=\"598\" height=\"900\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/ajw1-19.jpg\" alt=\"maid of honor toast\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><br \/>\nAndrea&#8217;s childhood best friend gave the next toast which was equally as wonderful.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/ajw1-20.jpg\" alt=\"groom's father toast and blessing\" width=\"598\" height=\"900\" \/><br \/>\nJosh&#8217;s Father gave another toast as well as the blessing, he was full of smiles!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/ajw1-21.jpg\" alt=\"groom looking at bride during toast\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><br \/>\nI LOVE the little looks of love during toasts!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/ajw1-22.jpg\" alt=\"bride's bouquet with rosary\" width=\"598\" height=\"900\" \/><br \/>\nAndrea did a LOT of DIY on this wedding including making her bouquet.
