{"id":1332,"date":"2011-03-14T08:00:50","date_gmt":"2011-03-14T12:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/?p=1332"},"modified":"2011-09-07T19:49:21","modified_gmt":"2011-09-07T23:49:21","slug":"brides-talk-van-jonathon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/brides-talk\/brides-talk-van-jonathon","title":{"rendered":"Brides Talk | Van &#038; Jonathon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What&#8217;s not to love about <a title=\"Destination Wedding | Van + Jonathon | Cozumel, Mexico\" href=\"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/2011\/02\/destination-wedding-van-jonathon-cozumel-mexico\/\" target=\"_blank\">Van &amp; Jonathon<\/a> who brought me to Cozumel with them and in the middle of winter to boot? \u00a0Beyond that though, I know that I would have loved them even if I was shooting in a foot of snow. \u00a0They were just really kind, caring and sweet people. \u00a0My husband and I immediately felt like family and I teared up right along with the family during their vows. \u00a0I loved every moment of their wedding day and adored how much of THEM they put into the day &#8211; from the ceremony to their first dance everything reflected their love for one another. \u00a0Note: more pictures from their rehearsal will be posted soon!<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em><strong>&#8220;<\/strong>Due to the nature of our wedding, we didn&#8217;t really shop around for a photographer.\u00a0 It was very hard to find a local photographer that did destination weddings.\u00a0 After some deep searching (I located Corey Ann on the Wedding Photojournalist Association), I browsed Corey Ann&#8217;s website and contacted her by email for pricing.\u00a0 Immediately, we got a response! \u00a0 From that moment on, we were excited to work with Corey Ann.\u00a0 We met a photographer who checked her email as often as we did!\u00a0 Throughout our experience with her, Corey Ann was friendly, creative, and flexible &#8211; important characteristics in a destination wedding photographer.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Besides being a photographer for us, she was a little bit wedding coordinator too! Having gone to a lot of weddings, Corey Ann was able to help us set up the ceremony site at our rehearsal, from arranging the seats, setting up the &#8220;aisle,&#8221; to hiding the bubbling whirlpool tub behind\u00a0 the &#8220;alter&#8221;.\u00a0 Her input was invaluable to the success of our ceremony.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>As we showed all of our friends and family our photos, we received tons of compliments on her photos, like how the images perfectly captured the emotion, and how the contrast of the background made us &#8220;pop.&#8221; \u00a0 She captured all the camaraderie among our family and friends and the love between us, while highlighting the fun we all had.\u00a0 Plus, we had so many pictures to choose from. \u00a0 As we scroll through the images, it&#8217;s like watching a video of our wedding day.\u00a0 We couldn&#8217;t be more pleased with our photos!<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>There are so many wonderful ways to describe our experience with Corey Ann, but I think her work says all we need to say about her ability.\u00a0 Here are some of our favorite pictures from our wedding in Cozumel, Mexico.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/btvf-1.jpg\" alt=\"bride and groom kiss at rehearsal party in cozumel mexico\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>This was the only kiss our guests would see pre-wedding!<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/btvf-2.jpg\" alt=\"bride and groom with guests with custom shirts for their destination wedding in mexico\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Our families surprised us with matching t-shirts &#8220;celebrando&#8221; (celebrating) our wedding!<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/btvf-3.jpg\" alt=\"bride and groom with bridal party at park royal in cozumel mexico\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Us and our 6 best friends!
