<\/p>\n\u2022 \u00a0I have to admit, I’m in LOVE with Margaux’s name. \u00a0I really love how unique and old-timey it is. \u00a0It’s so elegant and pretty… just like her!<\/p>\n
\u2022 \u00a0I have known Margaux’s Momma Barbee for about 25 years or so. \u00a0Her sister and I were good friends and many years were spent at their house growing up. \u00a0I was most often found there on Sunday when my Dad made pot roast. \u00a0It’s not that it wasn’t good (looking back, I regret not eating it more because it WAS good) but that it was what my Dad made every.single.Sunday. \u00a0Their Mom would always laugh when I’d show up looking hungry around dinnertime!<\/p>\n
\u2022 \u00a0Margaux’s Mom is the reason for my love of shoes. \u00a0She had over a hundred pairs of shoes and I remember sitting with her sister and just staring in awe at the shoes in her closet which were neatly boxed in see through shoe boxes and organized by color and type of shoe. \u00a0I never knew before this how many lovely shoes there were in the world as my Mom thought KMart was the ideal place for shoe shopping. \u00a0Barbee’s plaid Keds were the holy grail for me and I still remember them vividly. \u00a0It’s funny the things that stick with you!<\/p>\n
\u2022 \u00a0Barbee was the coolest oldest sister ever. \u00a0I wanted an older sister just like her. \u00a0She took us T.P.ing which was a favorite pastime of ours and even helped us invent an alibi when we were afraid we got caught (we didn’t, we were slick!). \u00a0I still laugh anytime I see Rain Man because that was the movie we were supposed to have gone and seen and since we’d never seen it she kept drilling the quotes from the movie into our brain – I still can quote them. \u00a0FYI Kmart Sucks! \u00a0Ha!<\/p>\n
\u2022 \u00a0Back to gorgeous little Margaux… oh what a cutie she is! \u00a0SUCH a good baby and literally a breeze to work with. \u00a0I cannot wait until I see her again in May and hopefully the weather has warmed up enough to get her outside!!!<\/p>\n
