{"id":148,"date":"2008-10-19T23:03:48","date_gmt":"2008-10-20T04:03:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/blog\/?p=148"},"modified":"2011-09-07T21:15:41","modified_gmt":"2011-09-08T01:15:41","slug":"eric-melissa-091508","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/wedding\/eric-melissa-091508","title":{"rendered":"Eric + Melissa 09.15.08"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had the absolutely amazing honor of shooting Eric + Melissa&#8217;s wedding back in September (I know, I am so behind on blogging it&#8217;s awful!).\u00a0 Their wedding was an intimate affair with just them, her parents, her brother and his girlfriend and myself and was held at Fieldcrest Montessori (what used to be the Hoover Farm) in North Canton literally down the street from me.<\/p>\n<p>Melissa moved in across the street with her parents and brother when she was about 5 and she was 2 years younger than me.\u00a0 We became fast friends and our soul purpose for existing was to spy on the neighbors and torment her younger brother.\u00a0 We grew apart as we got older but recconnected via MySpace a few years ago.\u00a0 She had moved to Texas and not too long after we started talking again she met this amazing guy.\u00a0 I heard a lot about this guy and how perfect he was.\u00a0 He completed her.\u00a0 When you meet them, you know this isn&#8217;t just some corny line from a movie &#8211; it is so true.\u00a0 They are a perfect match.<\/p>\n<p>Their wedding day will probably go down on record as one of the most disasterous weddings I&#8217;ve ever attended.\u00a0 NOTHING and I mean NOTHING went right.\u00a0 They had came home from Houston to get married here only to find out that a hurricane hit home (Ike) and were nervous to get back.\u00a0 THEN Ike hit HERE taking down power across most of the area.\u00a0 She scheduled, unscheduled and rescheduled her wedding a couple times.\u00a0 During our bridal shoot (where she wasn&#8217;t afraid to get a bit dirty!)
