{"id":3027,"date":"2012-11-29T15:42:24","date_gmt":"2012-11-29T20:42:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/?p=3027"},"modified":"2012-11-29T15:42:24","modified_gmt":"2012-11-29T20:42:24","slug":"wedding-%e2%80%a2-ashley-and-jeremy-%e2%80%a2-portage-country-club","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/wedding-%e2%80%a2-ashley-and-jeremy-%e2%80%a2-portage-country-club\/","title":{"rendered":"Wedding \u2022 Ashley and Jeremy \u2022 Portage Country Club"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u2022 \u00a0This wedding was all about timing, much like their<a title=\"Engaged | Jeremy and Ashley | The Winery at Wolf Creek\" href=\"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/engagement\/engaged-jeremy-and-ashley-the-winery-at-wolf-creek\" target=\"_blank\"> engagement session<\/a> was!<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 \u00a0The weather was daunting and luckily Ashley and Jeremy had decided to see each other before the wedding to get all of their pictures done so that they didn&#8217;t have to leave their guests after the ceremony. \u00a0I love this whenever everything is at one venue because often it&#8217;s awkward to leave your guests to do a photo session while they are watching and waiting for you to be done. \u00a0Originally the ceremony was to be outside with the reception indoors but JUST as we finished up the bridal party and bride and groom portraits there were sirens on the golf course signaling thunder nearby. \u00a0We were able to squeeze in some family formals with the ceremony setup outdoors and quite literally just as we finished the rain started to come down &#8211; and didn&#8217;t stop until the reception began. \u00a0If they had waited to do pictures after the ceremony, they would have missed out on the beautiful grounds that Portage Country Club has to offer!<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 \u00a0The sunset this night, due to the storms, was a-maz-ing. \u00a0I was watching it during dinner and was trying to decide if Ashley and Jeremy would be OK with me interrupting their dinner when they came to get me to take pictures outside, perfect timing (again!).<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 \u00a0However, with the good, comes the bad timing. \u00a0Bad timing bit me about 10 minutes before I left when I was photographing the dance floor and a guest slammed into me while I was taking photos and broke my nose. \u00a0Yes, for those that have been here a while, this is the second broken nose at a wedding. \u00a0Who knew it was a contact sport? \u00a0LOL<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Wedding Vendors<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Cupcakes: \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cupcakebliss.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cupcake Bliss<\/a><br \/>\nDJ: \u00a0Tom Meekins<br \/>\nFlorist: \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.coxflowers.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cox Flowers<\/a><br \/>\nOfficiant: \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.federationofchristianministries.org\/healings.html\" target=\"_blank\">Phil and Linda Marcin<\/a> (can I just say they were ADORABLE!?)<br \/>\nPhoto Booth: \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.caricabooth.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Capture This! Entertainment<\/a><br \/>\nViolinist: \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cathymillermusic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cathy Miller<\/a><br \/>\nVenue: \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.portagecc.org\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Portage Country Club<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"pp-insert-all size-full aligncenter\" title=\"Ashley height=\"598\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Since it was quite sunny outside, we opted to do their first look in a shaded stairwell and it worked out perfectly!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I loved the look of this bridal party, green and orange really look great outside!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" and orange flower bouquets\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Such pretty ladies! \u00a0You should know that I am a HUGE fan when everyone coordinates but doesn&#8217;t have the same dress, makes the bridesmaids more comfortable AND the pictures a bit more interesting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"text-align: center;\">Ashley&#8217;s bouquet was impressive&#8230; and big. \u00a0SO gorgeous but this may be the largest bouquet I&#8217;ve ever seen. \u00a0Here we&#8217;re finding out JUST \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The storms came in quickly and the staff moved like lightning to get the ceremony moved inside. \u00a0When everything was inside and set up, the ceremony started and there were few dry eyes in the house. \u00a0I love this image of Ashley&#8217;s Dad kissing her as he gives her away.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
