{"id":3318,"date":"2013-02-28T17:02:30","date_gmt":"2013-02-28T22:02:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/?p=3318"},"modified":"2013-02-28T17:02:30","modified_gmt":"2013-02-28T22:02:30","slug":"brides-talk-carrie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/brides-talk\/brides-talk-carrie","title":{"rendered":"Brides Talk \u2022 Carrie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s my favorite time of year again, the<a href=\"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/brides-talk\/\" target=\"_blank\"> annual album giveaway<\/a>!!! \u00a0Don&#8217;t know what it is? \u00a0Go back and read past entries.<\/p>\n<p>Today I&#8217;m bringing you Carrie&#8217;s Brides Talk. \u00a0I adore\u00a0<a title=\"Wedding \u2022 Carrie and Matt \u2022\u00a0Mr. Anthony\u2019s\" href=\"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/wedding\/wedding-%e2%80%a2-carrie-and-matt-%e2%80%a2-mr-anthonys\" target=\"_blank\">Carrie and Matt<\/a>, we had such a great day and the weather gods shined on us and while it rained all morning, we had a gorgeous afternoon for photographs. \u00a0They were so relaxed and chill all day, it was just a great day and I felt like I was alongside two friends all day. \u00a0Get married every year, OK?<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what Carrie says:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>&#8220;<\/strong>Working with Corey was an absolute dream! As soon as I saw her work, I knew I wanted to hire her to photograph our wedding, and our first meeting with her confirmed that. The couples in her photos always looked so natural and comfortable, and I hoped we would have the same experience.\u00a0 After meeting with her a second time before booking (yes, I was THAT bride!), I realized that Corey and Matt seemed to share the same sense of humor.\u00a0 I knew she would make my sometimes-nervous-in-front-of-a-camera-groom feel at ease!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Corey was one of the first vendors we booked for the wedding, which meant she had to deal with my anxiety-filled emails for months before the wedding!\u00a0 Fortunately for me, she was patient and put my mind at ease time and time again.\u00a0 She continued to do the same on our wedding day when the skies opened up and the rain came down in buckets!\u00a0 While everyone else told me the typical rainy-wedding day clich\u00e9s, Corey said \u201cIt will pass.\u00a0 You\u2019ll get your outside photos.\u00a0 And if not?\u00a0 You\u2019ll still be married!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>She was right.\u00a0 Just as guests started to arrive at the church, the sun came out and the ground dried up.\u00a0 Not only did Corey capture every image I could ever dream of, she managed to keep us AHEAD of schedule, allowing for more time between photos at the park and our reception.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Corey has given us such a beautiful gift that we will always cherish.\u00a0 It has been so difficult to choose pictures for Brides Talk, but here are just a few of my many, many favorites!<strong>&#8220;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" this from my wedding day!\u00a0 I love that you can see my engagement ring, as well as my maternal grandmother\u2019s engagement ring that I received after her passing.\u00a0 I only wear it on special occasions, and what occasion is more special than your wedding day?<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"pp-insert-all size-full aligncenter\" title=\"Carrie's height=\"598\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>There was a bit of a scuffle with the minister shortly before the ceremony began, which Corey mentioned in her blog post about our wedding.\u00a0 I am forever grateful that she went to bat for us, otherwise we wouldn\u2019t have any pictures of the processional.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img
