{"id":4086,"date":"2013-10-21T16:40:26","date_gmt":"2013-10-21T20:40:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/?p=4086"},"modified":"2013-10-21T16:40:26","modified_gmt":"2013-10-21T20:40:26","slug":"erin-and-byrons-wedding-in-north-canton-at-st-paul","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/wedding\/erin-and-byrons-wedding-in-north-canton-at-st-paul","title":{"rendered":"Byron and Erin&#8217;s Wedding in North Canton at St. Paul Catholic Church"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been such a busy month and my poor blog has been quite neglected. \u00a0In the wedding world June is generally &#8220;the&#8221; month that things get crazy but for me September has been rating as almost equal since my first year of weddings. \u00a0On top of a super busy schedule, I decided to end it with popping on a plane and heading off to Maine. \u00a0It was amazing and someday I&#8217;ll share the pictures here. \u00a0The unplugged wedding article took off again adding a bit more craziness to an already crazy life as well. \u00a0I have a week off this week so I&#8217;m hoping to get a bit more caught up on the blog and I&#8217;m starting it off with Byron and Erin.<\/p>\n<p>I love shooting hometown weddings. \u00a0It&#8217;s always charming in a way how &#8220;small&#8221; North Canton is. \u00a0I knew OF Erin since we both went to Hoover High School (she was a couple years behind me) but I didn&#8217;t know her well. \u00a0However, one of my past clients and friends Melissa knows her and when she saw her <a title=\"Portrait \u2022 The Lucic Family \u2022 Virginia Kendall Park\" href=\"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/children\/portrait-%e2%80%a2-the-lucic-family-%e2%80%a2-virginia-kendall-park\">pictures from her portrait session<\/a> she decided to book me as her photographer. \u00a0We didn&#8217;t meet until after she booked since she and Byron no longer live nearby but we met up over coffee not long after and we all immediately fell into this friendly banter and it seemed like we&#8217;ve known each other forever. \u00a0I guess it&#8217;s another part of the North Canton thing. \u00a0After our meeting I couldn&#8217;t wait to photograph their wedding! \u00a0Ironically another &#8220;small town&#8221; coincidence happened at the wedding &#8211; Erin&#8217;s Aunt was good friends with my Mom and recognized me when she saw me. \u00a0Fun!<\/p>\n<p>The week of the wedding the weather was wild in the typical Ohio September way. \u00a0Earlier in the week, it was overcast and a brisk 60 degrees but by Saturday it was almost 80 and sunny but leading up to the day of the wedding, rain kept being called for and no one was sure what would happen. \u00a0Since the reception was being held outside in a tent in Erin&#8217;s parent&#8217;s front yard (have I mentioned how much I love weddings at home? I have and will repeat it again here, LOVE them), weather was definitely a concern but luckily the rain stayed away! \u00a0Whew! \u00a0They had fans on site so it never was too humid and the day was absolutely perfect.<\/p>\n<p>Byron and Erin may have one of the cutest engagement stories &#8211; and I&#8217;ve heard a lot. \u00a0Long story short: Erin was visiting her friend Courtney (aka Maid of Honor) in NYC and unknown to her, Byron flew in to propose. \u00a0Courtney was in on it and had planned to go to dinner which just happened to take her by Carrie&#8217;s apartment from Sex and the City. \u00a0Erin LOVES SATC &#8211; so do I which is why I am probably in love with this story. \u00a0As they were walking by Carrie&#8217;s brownstone, a window in the car in front of the building&#8217;s window went down and red balloons popped out. \u00a0Erin, worried they were late for their reservation, kept on walking and Courtney had to drag her back so she saw that it was Byron in the car with the balloons recreating a moment from her favorite show to propose to her. \u00a0LOVE LOVE LOVE!<\/p>\n<p>I could go on and on about this wedding and how wonderful it was but instead I shall turn it over to the pictures!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Wedding Vendors<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Bridal Gown: \u00a0Marchesa via Nieman Marcus<br \/>\nBridesmaid Dresses: \u00a0J Crew<br \/>\nCake: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cantoncatering.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">AA Executive Catering<\/a><br \/>\nCatering: \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cantoncatering.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">AA Executive Catering<br \/>\n<\/a>Ceremony: \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.stpaulncanton.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">St. Paul Catholic Church<\/a><br \/>\nDJ: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gigsalad.com\/tom_dutch_clark_aka_dj_dutch_canton\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0DJ Tom &#8220;Dutch&#8221; Clark<\/a><br \/>\nFlorist: \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pamsposies.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pam&#8217;s Posies<\/a><br \/>\nHair: \u00a0Dimensions III<br \/>\nRentals: \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cantonchairrental.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Canton Chair Rental<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I really loved this moment of Erin&#8217;s Dad handing her over to Byron.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Also, I should note here that I was OBSESSED with Erin&#8217;s dress! \u00a0So chic!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4111\" alt=\"father handing over bride to the groom at wedding ceremony\" src=\"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/st-paul-wedding1.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0A lovely moment of laughter during the ceremony.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4110\" alt=\"bride and groom smiling during wedding ceremony at st paul's in north canton\" src=\"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/st-paul-wedding2.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0The Catholics like to slip in the kiss in the middle of the ceremony!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4109\" alt=\"first kiss during wedding ceremony at st paul catholic church\" src=\"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/st-paul-wedding3.jpg\" width=\"598\" height=\"900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/st-paul-wedding3.jpg 598w, https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/st-paul-wedding3-398x600.jpg 398w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 598px) 100vw, 598px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ve ever had a balloon exit so it was fun to see a new style!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4108\" alt=\"balloon release from wedding ceremony\" src=\"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/st-paul-wedding4.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0After the ceremony we all went back to Erin&#8217;s parents house where the reception was held on the front lawn.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I started out with pics with the bridal party.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4107\" alt=\"black and hot pink bridal party\" src=\"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/st-paul-wedding5.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0I loved the similar-but-different gowns that the ladies wore from J.
