Sorry Brides and Grooms, this post is not for you! \u00a0Unless you also own a business with a Facebook Page profile, then of course read on!<\/p>\n

A new change happened over on Facebook a couple months ago where the ratings for your Facebook Page<\/a> started showing up under your header with a link to the reviews. \u00a0The problem was at the same time they also made it possible to start rating businesses without leaving a review and\u00a0the business owners have no way to know you rated them.<\/em> \u00a0Sure, it may be great if you had a really bad experience at a restaurant but more often than not it’s competition giving you a ding to take your overall score down OR it’s an accidental hit when scrolling through your phone waiting to pick up lunch.<\/p>\n

While there’s no way to see the majority of the reviews there IS a way to see a few more of the star only ratings. \u00a0When I originally found this method, one of my friends had one the accidental one star rating when scrolling in the wee hours so I was able to get her to correct it and make my overall star rating go up a bit. \u00a0While this may not be a huge deal to 99% of you it sure made me a happy camper!<\/p>\n

Why do you care about your rating you ask? \u00a0Well, it’s part of the first overall impression one sees when they are viewing my business Facebook Page for the first time on a mobile device (I disabled the check ins for my page so that they no longer appear when viewing on a computer). \u00a0 The only way to completely get rid of them is to mark your page as a non-business but since I AM a business I want to still be categorized as one to hopefully continue to occasionally get likes from people looking for photographers locally on Facebook. \u00a0Especially since they are trying to be a search engine someday. \u00a0Here’s hoping that fails!!! \u00a0Ha!<\/p>\n

Note that this only works for some Pages. \u00a0Certain categories have the ratings, some do not.<\/p>\n

Here’s the little trick I found that will show you a few more stars (from your friends):<\/p>\n

Start by logging into the Facebook App on your iPhone, \u00a0not<\/strong><\/em><\/span> the Pages Manager that is a separate app.\u00a0. \u00a0If you have an Android I have NO idea what yours will look like\/do, sorry!<\/p>\n

Click on the “More” Button.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then click on the page you are wanting to view the star ratings on.<\/p>\n

When your page is open, click on the “Public” tab on the right hand side beneath your cover image.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is what that page will look like when you click over to the Public side.<\/p>\n

Note that you can rate yourself here and as you can see, I have no shame in thinking I’m awesome.<\/p>\n

Scroll down and you will see the overview of the ratings. \u00a0Note, these ratings again can not be seen when logged into Facebook on a computer, only via mobile. \u00a0Still sucks this is what greets people when I have all 5 star ratings.<\/p>\n

Keep scrolling.<\/p>\n

Now once you get to where the ratings are with words, look below for a grey box with “All Reviews” \u00a0and click the arrow over.<\/p>\n

At the top you will see the reviews from your friends that you just saw, maybe a few more if your friends are super awesome and have left worded reviews for you.<\/p>\n

Keep scrolling!<\/p>\n

TA DA!!! \u00a0Are you cursing someone silently? \u00a0Are you relieved none of your friends are secretly hating you?<\/p>\n

Yes, there be ratings!<\/p>\n

I have a lot more than this but I think you get the gist?<\/p>\n
