Backyard Wedding with Angela and Kevin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It used to be that June was &#8220;the&#8221; wedding month and all other months were just bridesmaids to the June bridal month. \u00a0However, times have changed and at least for me, September and October are &#8220;where it&#8217;s at&#8221; when it comes to popular wedding dates. \u00a0This year was no different but there was one thankful reprieve in the craziness that is September and October &#8211; a weekend with two short and lovely smaller weddings WITH marvelous weather which was a blessing since both events were outdoors.<\/p>\n<p>Angela and Kevin were my first of the double header weekend and they had one of the most beautiful backyard weddings I&#8217;ve ever seen myself OR anywhere! \u00a0I posted a few teasers to <a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/c0reyann\" target=\"_blank\">my instagram<\/a> and people kept asking me what vendors did what and were shocked to find out the bride, groom and friends were the main wedding vendors for this wedding. \u00a0Not only did they tackle the decor themselves but Kevin\u00a0<em>cooked all of the food<\/em> and Angela\u00a0<em>baked her cake and most of the cookies<\/em>. \u00a0I&#8217;m still in awe over this! \u00a0I even had a friend contact me asking me if the bride did cakes professionally b\/c she wanted a cake just like hers!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Wedding Vendors<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Florist (bouquets): \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.barbatoflowers.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Barbatos Flowers and Greenhouse<\/a><br \/>\nMusic: \u00a0Dan Fladung<br \/>\nTent Rental: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abtentrental.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">A&amp;B Tent Rental<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">When I arrived Angela was trying to decide on a necklace and I saw her daughter checking out the ceremony and setup in the backyard.<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5350\" alt=\"child looks out over backyard ceremony setup\" src=\"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/massillon-wedding1.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Once everyone was ready we headed over to a park nearby for some portraits before the wedding.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" in this patch of trees near the creek so I took them over here for most of the portraits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5352\" a DELICIOUS BBQ dinner prepared by Kevin (the pulled pork was the best I&#8217;ve ever had!) we did a few more portraits with Angela&#8217;s daughter while sitting on the arbor.<\/p>\n<p reception &#8211; there were a few games of cornhole setup and other things to keep them entertained. \u00a0Their favorite thing was playing in the rose petals though, naturally.<\/p>\n<p friends and family gathered around and chatting. \u00a0Dan Flading was playing music or singing himself off and on but it wasn&#8217;t loud and everyone was able to have a conversation.<\/p>\n<p
