Carolyn and Matt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Whew!  It is finally the end of a crazy busy week for me and I&#8217;ve had time to breathe and blog some images from an engagement session last Monday!  I am starting to get twitchy about being backlogged in my blogging!  Hopefully this week I can catch up on that as I have no shoots until Saturday&#8217;s wedding.<\/p>\n<p>Carolyn and Matt had one of the most gorgeous days in May picked out for their engagement session but Matt had a Corey Moment and damaged his nose and we had to reschedule unless we wanted it to appear that Carolyn really did have to fight him to get him to do the engagement shoot!  We originally were shooting for Tuesday but were going to keep an eye on the weather and see what worked best during the week.  Monday originally looked gloomy and was raining but it cleared up and the day was perfect!<\/p>\n<p>Just in case of a lingering shower that was called for, we decided to skip going to McKinley Monument and Park and I opted to pick them up and we drove around North Canton to some areas that I&#8217;ve wanted to shoot in my hometown for a while!  I think it all worked out perfectly!  We started out near my house where I took <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/blog\/?p=148\">Melissa last fall<\/a> for some shots by the railroad tracks and then to the pond next to the tracks.  We then headed over to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.walsh.edu\/hooverhistoricalcent.htm\">Hoover Historical Center<\/a>.  After that and a quick wardrobe change we went to downtown North Canton and finished up with some yummy ice cream at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.handelsicecream.com\">Handel&#8217;s<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>Keep in mind that the entire shoot Carolyn and Matt kept insisting they were not photogenic and would end up looking like dorks in the images.  They kept apologizing profusely!  I think the end result proves that they were not dorky whatsoever \ud83d\ude42  Every couple insists that they can&#8217;t take pics, they stink at posing and so forth so it&#8217;s really fun for me to be able to show them before the wedding that they can look amazing!!  The day of the wedding then they have full trust in me which is great!<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to both Carolyn and Matt for a great evening, amazing pictures and a yummy root beer float!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/cme-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><br \/>\nI don&#8217;t know why but I have always wanted to do an engagement shoot here.  Luckily they were willing to go along with any of my ideas!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/cme-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"598\" height=\"900\" \/><br \/>\nI think it&#8217;s because this area has not only some awesome tracks (I love the lines and curves of the tracks here!) but because there is also a pond and park like area to play with right there as well.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/cme-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><br \/>\nOh and the light here is amazing!!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/cme-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"598\" height=\"900\" \/><br \/>\nSuch a wonderfully fun couple!  I also love it when I can see the shoes in a shot \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/cme-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><br \/>\nI tend to guide my couples more than pose and let things come naturally to them.  I told them to walk down the tracks and they did this on their own.  LOVE it!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/cme-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><br \/>\nThis image is a bit more guided but the look of love &#8211; that&#8217;s purely them!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/cme-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"598\" height=\"900\" \/><br \/>\nWe left the tracks and went to the Hoover Historical Center and made this image which is by far my favorite of the day.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/cme-8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"598\" height=\"900\" \/><br \/>\nThis is taken in front of the old Willis Pontiac Store in North Canton.  I&#8217;m still a bit sad to see it empty!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/cme-9.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><br \/>\nTaking a moment to snuggle is always a great photo op!  If you look, you can see the old Hoover Plant in the background.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coreyann.net\/cme-10.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" \/><br \/>\nWe finished out the session at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.handelsicecream.com\/home\/index.html\">Handel&#8217;s<\/a> and got some delicious ice cream with a side of sun flare!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whew!
