Cassie and Nathan came to me from a referral from a dear friend of mine that happens to be a wonderful photographer<\/a>. \u00a0As she was a guest for this wedding, I had the joy of working with these two lovebirds. \u00a0They had an early ceremony but a later reception which meant that we had lots of time between point a and point b not only for photos but they also got a break to eat, relax and ENJOY the day. \u00a0I was lucky enough to have my faithful minion<\/a> (said in the lovingest of terms) with me this day and we both agreed that it was just a magical day from beginning to end but the break in the middle – that’s what made the day extra awesome. \u00a0There was no “ok I have 50 minutes for EVERY.SINGLE.PICTURE” rush, there was no “everyone is hangry” obstacle to overcome. \u00a0It was just a smooth, lovely day. \u00a0Of course the top of the list was just how lovely these two looked. \u00a0I’m still agog at how GORGEOUS Cassie’s dress was!!!<\/p>\n

I would keep going on about this wedding but trust me, you would much rather see these images! \u00a0Um… there’s a lot. \u00a0Fair warning!<\/p>\n

We started our day with Nathan at his parents house. \u00a0This house is one of the most unique and ADORABLE houses I’ve ever been in.<\/p>\n

The bonus was a gorgeous living area with amazing window light! \u00a0Nathan’s brothers helped make sure he was looking perfect.<\/p>\n

\"grooms<\/p>\n

Nathan’s Dad came in as well and may have got a bit misty eyed. \u00a0I adored this family!<\/p>\n

\"grooms<\/p>\n

Soon it was time to scoot off over to Cassie and her parents house where her dress was hanging and it was SMASHING!<\/p>\n

I love, love, love the back detail.<\/p>\n

Cassie’s Mom had a mirror that was perfect!<\/p>\n

\"bride<\/p>\n

We all headed off to the church and I loved the ribbon wands they had set out for the exit.<\/p>\n

The ceremony began and Nathan was a bit teary seeing Cassie for the first time. \u00a0So was his Dad.<\/p>\n

She was beautiful!<\/p>\n

The ceremony was perfect.<\/p>\n

I loved their little cheer after being pronounced man and wife!<\/p>\n

Another kiss? \u00a0YAY!<\/p>\n

After the ceremony we headed to The Oaks where their rehearsal was held the night before and where they had done part of their engagement session with Katie. \u00a0I LOVE this place!<\/p>\n

I am kind of obsessed with Cassie’s gown. \u00a0So beautiful!<\/p>\n

These guys were so much fun all day. \u00a0I love when family is the bridal party – makes for a great time!<\/p>\n

Nathan looked pretty dapper!<\/p>\n

Cassie’s hair was so awesome, I love when ladies with shorter hair style it beautifully.<\/p>\n

How beautiful is this location? \u00a0The leaves had just started changing and the views were beautiful.<\/p>\n

Someday I think we’ll have to head out to eat at The Oaks, this setting is spectacular.<\/p>\n

We headed towards Cassie’s parents house and stopped at a local park and the light was beautiful coming in through the trees.<\/p>\n

This little bridge was perfect!<\/p>\n

I am so glad we had ample time for photographs because these two are seriously photogenic.<\/p>\n

This is one of my favorites from the day!<\/p>\n

Cassie’s niece and nephew were such a hoot!<\/p>\n

We finished the photos up at Cassie’s parents house before everyone took a break for some food and downtime before the reception.<\/p>\n

This bridal party was so lovely and wonderful to work with!<\/p>\n

The field behind her parents house was BEAUTIFUL!!!<\/p>\n

After we had a few slices of pizza (THANK YOU!) we headed over to capture images of the reception before the guests arrived. \u00a0The Moms had a huge hand in all of the decor and it was so beautiful! \u00a0I especially loved the books on the centerpieces along with the pumpkins!<\/p>\n

These centerpieces were perfect for October!<\/p>\n

Dancing Queen entrance!!! \u00a0Hilarious!<\/p>\n

They started off the formalities with Cassie’s Dad welcoming everyone with a toast.<\/p>\n

At the end of the toast he told a story about how Nathan and Cassie drank a rare wine that he’d been saving during a party at their house. \u00a0They both felt terrible about it.<\/p>\n

Her Dad bought another bottle and brought out glasses for them during his toast. \u00a0Everyone was tearing up!<\/p>\n

Toasting with the wine! \u00a0I love when people are able to bring in personal touches to toasts.<\/p>\n

Cassie’s sister gave a lovely Matron of Honor toast.<\/p>\n

Nathan’s brothers were comedic with their co-toast.<\/p>\n

After dinner I was able to nab the rings to play with and I love this image of the rings on the centerpiece leaf detail.<\/p>\n

The cake cutting started off nice…<\/p>\n

…but it ended a bit messy! \u00a0They were laughing though so it was all in good fun!<\/p>\n

Their first dance was quite romantic.<\/p>\n

The father daughter dance was sweet and sentimental.<\/p>\n

The mother son dance was another misty event for the night but was also lovely.<\/p>\n

I love Cassie’s face when tossing the bouquet. \u00a0She missed the lights, whew!<\/p>\n

Her friend caught it and was quite excited, to say the least! \u00a0LOL!<\/p>\n

The garter was removed with care…<\/p>\n

The ring bearer was doing cartwheels while waiting for it to be removed.<\/p>\n

The guys didn’t run! \u00a0WAHOO!<\/p>\n

Finally the dance floor was open and these two shared a romantic dance before shaking their tailfeathers with their friends the rest of the evening!<\/p>\n
