Whew – I’m finally to the last wedding from 2014 on the blog – just in time for my upcoming first wedding of 2015 this weekend!<\/p>\n

Jennifer and Robert got married at the very end of December on the weekend after Christmas. \u00a0It was the rare December day in Cleveland where it wasn’t TOO bitterly cold (it was in the 50’s!) and we laughed about how their engagement session<\/a> was actually colder! \u00a0It was probably the last time I felt those temperatures so I’m very glad that we were able to go outside and actually enjoy them for a bit! \u00a0Thank you Mother Nature for holding off your anger until after their wedding!! \u00a0Since then it’s been a cold, snowy mess here in Northeast Ohio.<\/p>\n

Jennifer and Robert are just too sweet for words together and the day of their wedding was no different. \u00a0Jennifer actually was sick on her wedding day and Robert was looking out for her all day. \u00a0They are just so tender and adorable together that they made my job almost easy. \u00a0Their friends and family were also on hand to help at any turn and it was such a great sight to see. \u00a0They also kept trying to feed me all day which was adorable and so kind! \u00a0I mayyyy have been forced to take a box of cookies home and I may have loved that midnight snack. \u00a0Man, cookie buffets are the best! \u00a0It was such a wonderful end to the beautiful year of 2014 for me and I am so grateful I got to spend it with them. \u00a0Thank you so much for choosing me to be your wedding photographer<\/a>!<\/p>\n

I loved their elegant winter themed invitations with the lacy snowflakes!

I had some fun playing while Jennifer was getting her hair and makeup done.<\/p>\n

THIS DRESS! \u00a0*swoon* \u00a0It had small shimmering sequins scattered throughout the gown and when she moved she glistened like snow. \u00a0It was perfect!<\/p>\n

\"winter<\/p>\n

How fun and unique are her shoes? \u00a0I love that they are kind of a cross between booties and heels.<\/p>\n

They also had custom Converse shoes for later in the night. \u00a0The light coming through the dress was the perfect spot for an impromptu light box!<\/p>\n

Jennifer’s niece was the flower girl and her expressions all night were classic.<\/p>\n

I love, love, loved the way that Savoir-Faire decorated Jennifer’s Dad’s walker for the ceremony with reindeer!! BRILLIANT!<\/p>\n

The University Circle United Methodist Church is SUCH a beautiful church.<\/p>\n

Ahhh the kiss! \u00a0THE DRESS! \u00a0Sorry, I’m just in love with that dress!<\/p>\n

One of the neatest things about this church is they sprinkle rose petals from above as the couple walks down the aisle after the ceremony. \u00a0Quite lovely!<\/p>\n

They had streamers popped for their exit and it was glorious! \u00a0The look was awesome and they were a cinch to clean up as they didn’t detach from the handle! \u00a0LOVE!<\/p>\n

After the family portraits we headed across the street down to the Wade Oval Lagoon in front of the Cleveland Museum of Art for some outdoor wedding portraits. \u00a0I still can’t believe how nice it was that day – well for December that is!<\/p>\n

I loved the look of the ladies long gowns with the furs!<\/p>\n

Seriously. \u00a0These two are just so darn sweet.<\/p>\n

\"December<\/p>\n

Jennifer’s bouquet was just so freaking awesome. \u00a0It was huge and beautiful. \u00a0I love the hints of color hidden around in the arrangement.<\/p>\n

The ladies looked great, I especially loved the Matron of Honor’s dress which was a sequined gown in the same shade as the bridesmaids gowns.<\/p>\n

This flower girl was one of my favorites of the year. \u00a0SHE IS SO CUTE!<\/p>\n

So sue me, I saw this idea on Pinterest a long time ago and when they were in the above pose I asked Jennifer to toss her bouquet over her flower girl and loved it.<\/p>\n

The guys were equally as wonderful.<\/p>\n

How fun are these festive socks? \u00a0I love when the groomsman have socks with personality.<\/p>\n

We went back to my favorite nook from their engagement session for a few final portraits before heading downtown.<\/p>\n

So glad we stopped here. \u00a0The light, despite it being overcast (we were dodging some rainstorms nearby), was lovely here.<\/p>\n

We headed downtown and arrived not long after some rain had moved through. \u00a0We met up at East 4th and the wind had picked up and the temperatures had dropped so we did a quick run through the best spots so that the time being miserable was kept to a minimum. \u00a0Of course we had to stop by my favorite nook on East 4th! \u00a0This ended up being one of my favorites from the day.<\/p>\n

The whole bridal party, you can kind of see how the wind had started to pick up here! \u00a0It was cold but these guys made it work, thank you!<\/p>\n

I absolutely adored the decor at Pine Ridge Country Club for the wedding reception. \u00a0There were quite a few variations of silver, red and blue centerpieces and the overall look was perfect for a wedding the weekend after Christmas.<\/p>\n

I also LOVED the big Christmas Tree and the ambiance it added to the room. \u00a0There were trees throughout the reception hall and it was a delight to see in pictures in the backgrounds! \u00a0There’s just something special and welcoming about Christmas trees!<\/p>\n

The evening got underway with a toast from the Best Man.<\/p>\n

The first dance was perfection.<\/p>\n

\"First<\/p>\n

This cake was so beautiful and fit perfectly within the the decor of the reception!<\/p>\n

\"White<\/p>\n

After dinner the cookie table was unveiled and it was quite impressive and festive in front of the tree.<\/p>\n

I’ve mentioned this MANY times but cookie buffets are one of my favorite things at a reception and not just because I have a weakness for sugar cookies but because it’s always so awesome to hear the stories about why certain cookies are on the table, who made them and their relationship to the couple and family. \u00a0It’s fun to hang out nearby when I’m taking pictures and listen in on the stories about how when the Bride was a little girl she used to stay up all night helping her Ant make a certain cookie or how as a boy the Groom would steal the cookies after he thought everyone was asleep. \u00a0Long live the cookie table and the heirloom quality it brings to a wedding!<\/p>\n

\"Christmas<\/p>\n

Of course the rings had to be on some of the shiny ornaments from one of the trees!<\/p>\n

\"Wedding<\/p>\n

Another favor was awaiting the guests on their way out the door – homemade hot cocoa mix in mason jars! \u00a0One side had the recipe with the other an image from their engagement session. \u00a0SUCH a great and perfect favor for a winter wedding!<\/p>\n

\"Hot<\/p>\n

Often the flower girl is the first one on the dance floor but when the dancing begins after dinner they are crashed out in a corner or on the shoulder of a loved one. \u00a0Not this little lady! \u00a0She danced all night long!!!<\/p>\n
