Tree Beach Destination Wedding on St. Thomas with Emily and Erik"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A couple years ago I met up with <a href=\"https:\/\/coreyann.com\/blog\/engagement\/emily-eriks-engagement-session-portage-lakes\">Emily and Erik for their engagement session at Turkeyfoot Lake<\/a>. \u00a0I had SO much fun with them and was really looking forward to their wedding that following summer. \u00a0However, Erik is in the military and his deployment dates changed and they had to cancel their wedding. \u00a0I was so sad because I really enjoyed working with them. \u00a0Unfortunately their alternative date didn&#8217;t work for me as I already had a wedding scheduled. \u00a0I didn&#8217;t hear anything until near their wedding date when Emily emailed and mentioned they had ended up deciding to elope while on a cruise at Christmas on the Carnival Splendor.\u00a0\u00a0I offhandedly mentioned that I do photograph destination weddings and after some chatting back and forth, I was brought on board to be their wedding photographer in St. Thomas!!!<\/p>\n<p>The day before Christmas Eve we met up with Emily and Erik after their ship docked (instead of cruising I stayed on St. Thomas at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marriott.com\/hotels\/travel\/sttfr-frenchmans-reef-and-morning-star-marriott-beach-resort\/\" target=\"_blank\">Marriott Frenchman&#8217;s Reef<\/a> near\u00a0their wedding site) on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vinow.com\/stt\/stt-b\/limetree-beach\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lime Tree Beach<\/a>. \u00a0It was such a beautiful spot for an intimate St. Thomas wedding! \u00a0After the ceremony we took some portraits on the beach and the resort before heading over to get lunch at a nearby resort\u00a0before they went back to the ship. \u00a0It was a perfect wedding day and I am SO happy that I was able to still be their photographer after all.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you both SO much for href=\"http:\/\/www.bolongobay.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bolongo Bay Beach\u00a0Resort<\/a> \/ <strong>Wedding Coordinator:<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.islandblissweddings.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Island Bliss Weddings<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I lucked out with a room that overlooked Charlotte Amalie and the port that their cruise ship, the Carnival Splendor, was docking at so I was able to capture this image of their ship arriving on their wedding day from my balcony!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" seeing them dock we headed over to Bluebeard&#8217;s Beach Club and I captured some images of the resort while I waited for them to arrive.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" beautiful ceremony in spirit as well. \u00a0It wasn&#8217;t your typical quick ceremony when it&#8217;s just the wedding couple saying I Do and kissing, there was a lot of beautiful vows and words Iggies Beach Bar &amp; Grill. \u00a0It was absolutely delicious and it was nice to spend some time with them before we went our separate ways!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img
