In Ohio we always know that almost any month is game for any weather. \u00a0After such a mild winter however, some of us definitely expected the spring to follow suit. \u00a0It didn’t. \u00a0Not at all. \u00a0The night\/morning of Melissa and Michael’s wedding it decided to snow. \u00a0So much so that we were under a Winter Storm Warning. \u00a0In April. \u00a0Because Ohio? \u00a0Luckily Melissa and Michael were’t fazed at all and were amiable to our backup location (Cleveland Public Library) and it all ended up working out perfectly.<\/p>\n

The day of their wedding these two were so adorable. \u00a0They were SO excited to see each other! \u00a0Just wait until you see their huge grins when they saw each other coming down the aisle! \u00a0The rest of the day with these two was so easy going and relaxed. \u00a0The bridal party was really chill and super helpful and the whole day just floated along easily. \u00a0The reception was spectacular – as one at the Hyatt Arcade always is! \u00a0The dance floor was PACKED all night long thanks to the tunes from A Brides DJ and everyone from young to old was dancing at some point during the night.<\/p>\n

Andrew started with the guys over at the Hyatt while they got ready. \u00a0I love this image he captured of Michael getting ready.<\/p>\n

After the guys were dressed they headed over to the stairs for some portraits.<\/p>\n

\"Black<\/p>\n

How fun are these argyle socks on the guys? \u00a0LOVE!<\/p>\n

\"Blue<\/p>\n

I was with the ladies who got ready in the small ante room at St. Christopher’s. \u00a0I loved this image of Melissa’s sister and Mom helping her get into her gown.<\/p>\n

\"Bride<\/p>\n

The final touch, the veil!<\/p>\n

\"Mother<\/p>\n

I loved their perfectly elegant yet simple program!<\/p>\n

\"Simple<\/p>\n

Michael’s face lit up when he finally locked eyes with Melissa. \u00a0It was so adorable!<\/p>\n

\"Groom<\/p>\n

It was even more adorable to see Melissa’s elated expression when she saw Michael.<\/p>\n

\"Bride<\/p>\n

Some of my favorite moments are when the bride’s Dad hands off his daughter to the groom.<\/p>\n

\"Father<\/p>\n

The kiss!<\/p>\n

\"First<\/p>\n

They are married!!!<\/p>\n

\"Wedding<\/p>\n

Due to the inclement weather we headed over to the Cleveland Public Library for portraits up on the second floor.<\/p>\n

\"Wedding<\/p>\n

All of the marble is amazing there and I was glad I was able to find a hidden little corner for some pictures with the reflective marble.<\/p>\n

\"Wedding<\/p>\n

We did one more portrait at the Hyatt before they entered their reception because this is my FAVORITE spot for portraits at the Hyatt (can you see why?)?<\/p>\n

\"Wedding<\/p>\n

The decor for the reception was simply elegant. \u00a0I loved the baby’s breath and the white and gold mixed with the look of the Arcade.<\/p>\n

\"White<\/p>\n

Wild Flour always knocks it out of the park, this cake was no different than the rest!<\/p>\n

\"Cream<\/p>\n

So.. this moment… oh this moment. \u00a0The cake was really moist and Michael was maybe a bit nervous and the chocolate cake fell off the fork… twice… before Melissa got a bite. \u00a0Her dress was OK and it was actually a pretty funny moment but everyone was shocked. \u00a0Michael though? \u00a0His expression here is gold!<\/p>\n

\"Groom<\/p>\n

Tell me is there a better way to enter a wedding reception in Ohio? \u00a0If so, I haven’t found it. \u00a0This staircase is amazing!<\/p>\n

\"Wedding<\/p>\n

Melissa and Michael welcomed their guests with a toast to start off the reception.<\/p>\n

\"Bride<\/p>\n

The Best Man toast was hilarious and perfect.<\/p>\n

\"Best\"Bride\"Wedding<\/p>\n

The Maid of Honor toast was also perfectly on point, as a sister’s toast always is.<\/p>\n

The first dance was so lovely, I love how the lights are all around at the Hyatt. \u00a0Andrew focused on the wide angles while I focused on the emotions!<\/p>\n

\"First<\/p>\n

The laughs are my favorites!<\/p>\n

Another wide angle from Andrew to finish it up, perfections!<\/p>\n

It was time to play with the rings and used their favors – mini m&ms – to play with!<\/p>\n

Once the dance floor opened up it was PACKED and everyone was having a great time!<\/p>\n

Towards the end of the night Toto’s Africa came on and everyone lost their mind. \u00a0Not the song you expect to get everyone going crazy for but everyone was digging it. \u00a0Then this happened. \u00a0Two guests did a “Dirty Dancing” style lift and it was amazing and the PERFECT way to end this post. \u00a0This moment may be hard to top this year!<\/p>\n
