<\/p>\nThe day of the wedding was fairly relaxed. \u00a0It goes without saying though that inevitably, there will be things that go wrong so the best you can do is breathe and go with the flow. \u00a0My hairstylist cancelled at the last minute and sent someone else. \u00a0Things were running behind. \u00a0My shoes didn’t work in the sand. \u00a0Really, little stuff but the day of the wedding it is hard not to let it become big stuff.<\/p>\n
I started the day off with a relaxing massage thanks to my sister in law Cathy. \u00a0Afterwards I headed back to the house and just chilled out for a while. \u00a0I got to take my first trip to the beach – the days leading up to the wedding I was so busy getting things done for the wedding that I never had the chance to get to the beach and just relax. \u00a0So the morning\/afternoon before the wedding I did just that. \u00a0I also took my camera with me and took some pics. \u00a0It was calming and nice.<\/p>\n
The hairstylist arrived and got to work on the style I’d decided I wanted. \u00a0While the end result wasn’t QUITE what I had in mind, I loved it just the same. \u00a0The photographers – I had THREE – arrived at 3 or so and then things really got underway.<\/p>\n

Doing my makeup while Lisa laughs at me…. probably because I did something stupid.<\/p>\n

While we were getting ready in the bathroom, Petra my flower girl was calling Tokoyo.<\/p>\n

My memory bracelet was the perfect way for me to keep my loved ones that are no longer with me beside me the day of our wedding.<\/p>\n

Putting my earrings in from the now defunct Creme de Luxe (which I ADORED). \u00a0This picture is one of my favorites of the day and by far one of my favorite pictures of me in general ever.<\/p>\n

Lisa helps me put in the orchids I had Renee Landry make for my hair. \u00a0I loved this tough so much! \u00a0I knew that having a veil would be a bit too much on the ocean with the breeze. \u00a0You can also see my necklace from Creme de Luxe that I loved.<\/p>\n

Putting the shoes on that would not make it more than a few minutes on the beach. \u00a0Good thing though I found out BEFORE the wedding!<\/p>\n

Lisa and I laughing on the beach. \u00a0Brooke told us to fake laugh and I believe I snorted and it was all downhill from there. \u00a0May not be the most flattering picture of me… but I love it.<\/p>\n
Aren’t the bouquets stunning??? \u00a0I can’t rave enough about my florist. \u00a0Renee Landry Style, book her if you are getting married in the Outer Banks!!<\/p>\n
Also notice Lisa’s stunning jewelry. \u00a0That was a heck of a lark that I came upon at Zales of all places. \u00a0Matched her dress perfectly and was gorgeous.<\/p>\n

One thing that was hysterical during the pics before the wedding was Petra’s fascination with my dress. \u00a0She loved standing on the train and walking on it.<\/p>\n
