Pines Wedding with Allison and Tom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For me, I always get excited when I have a wedding that isn&#8217;t on Saturday.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t know why by the vibe is always unique and fun and it&#8217;s nice to change things up a bit.\u00a0 Also, I got married on a Wednesday so I always love getting other &#8220;oddball&#8221; wedding days of the week.\u00a0 Allison and Tom got married on a TUESDAY and it was fantastic.\u00a0 All day I kept thinking it was a Saturday because it never felt like a weekday wedding (when often everyone shows up in droves once work is done).<\/p>\n<p>It was a small but lovely wedding full of smiles all day long.\u00a0 The love I felt for them on their wedding day was practically tangible.\u00a0 Everyone all day was SO elated to be a guest and to see these two say I do.\u00a0 Everyone was also willing to help with any little thing that needed done and that was lovely to see as well.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you both so much for trusting me to capture your day!\u00a0 It was such a great day!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ceremony &amp; Reception:<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.skylandpinesbanquetcenter.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Skyland Pines<\/a> \/<strong> DJ:<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/flashandsoundevents.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Flash and Sound Events<\/a> \/ <strong>Florist:<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dickandson.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Flowers by Dick and Son<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Since their ceremony &amp; reception were at the same place it made the most sense to do a first look, portraits AND they were able to get all of their family formals in before the ceremony.\u00a0 Made the rest of the day seamless!<img they were low key and didn&#8217;t have a formal bridal party!\u00a0 It was nice to spend time with Allison and Tom out on the golf course alone for portraits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: time I was at Skyland Pines the ceremony had to be moved inside due to thunderstorms (and a nearby tornado) so I&#8217;m so happy I was finally able to visit this pretty spot for an outdoor ceremony.\u00a0 It&#8217;s such a gorgeous setup right?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9470\" 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">How fun is Tom&#8217;s smile when he saw Allison walking down the aisle!?\u00a0 People always ask me if the first look ruins the moment of seeing the bride coming down the aisle for the groom (and vice versa).\u00a0 This kind of reaction is why I always say absolutely not.\u00a0 Often those that have a first look are MORE emotional seeing their beloved during the ceremony because they aren&#8217;t caught up in the &#8220;I have to remember to say this is what I was thinking when we&#8217;re finally able to talk&#8221; and just take in the moment!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-9471\" got to take home a rose (or two) from the centerpiece.\u00a0 Such a great idea!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Jake from Flash and Sound Events did a phenomenal job getting the dancing and fun going.\u00a0 Sometimes with weekday weddings it can be tough since people are not in the party mode but Jake got everyone out on the dance floor and having a wonderful time!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img
