Wildwood Park Engagement Session with Jacquie and Chris

wildwood park engagement session ohio

On a beautiful October evening in *hangs head in shame* 2019, I met up with Jacquie and Chris at Wildwood Park in Euclid for their engagement session.  I hadn’t been there before and oh my gosh, what a lovely park!!!  There’s woods, a Cleveland script sign, a bridge, the beach and there was just enough foliage starting to pop to make everything a bit more beautiful.  I love discovering hidden gems like this in Ohio and I am so excited to return here someday!

Their daughter also popped in for a few photos and I LOVE when engagement sessions include family too!

These two were SUCH a joy to work with.  SO MANY SMILES!  Their wedding almost exactly a year later on 10/10/20 was also the same.  I’ll get to see these two again in June and I am so excited to be fully vaccinated and give them LOTS of hugs which I couldn’t do on their wedding day.

I LOVED Jacquie’s dress and am still obsessed with it over a year later.  It was so beautiful on her and looked stunning in photos.  It also looked great with Chris’s shirt and jeans AND the backdrop of the park.

Enjoy this engagement session with these two lovebirds!

Sheraton Suites Cuyahoga Falls Wedding with Molly and Cory

October wedding portrait at Tallmadge Meadows in Ohio

After Molly and Cory’s engagement session I knew that they would be a blast on their wedding day and I actually underestimated just how much fun they would be to hang with for the day!  This couple and their bridal party were an absolute RIOT all day long.

I started my day with Molly and the ladies at the Sheraton Suites in Cuyahoga Falls while my second for the day, Vanessa, met up with Cory and his guys at their house.  We both were chatterboxes when we met back up about just how enjoyable this group was!

Their ceremony at Holy Family Parish in Stow was a perfect Catholic wedding.  The best thing about catholic weddings is that usually we have an abundance of time to get in photos and the couple have a chance to just ENJOY being married and celebrating with their friends for a bit before the rush of the reception.

After the family portraits we headed over to Tallmadge Meadows Park for photos but first they chowed down on lunch from Raisin’ Canes. YUM!  They even had some for us!   I love when clients feed their bridal party because it’s really hard to get smiles when hanger has set in (and a few beers…) and after the lunch this group was excited for photos and we had fun!

After we finished up their photos there we hit up a bar they enjoy going to in Cuyahoga Falls for a break from the sun and for the bridal party to get some drinks together before the reception.  After a quick stop at High Bridge Glens for the classic champagne spray photos we did the last few photos at the falls before heading in for the cocktail hour and reception!

When the bridal couple has the MOST ENERGETIC first dance EVER you know it’s going to be a fun night and what a fun night it was!

Thank you SO much to Molly and Cory for trusting me to capture your wedding day and for such a blast to be with all day!

Ceremony: Holy Family Parish / Reception: Sheraton Suites Cuyahoga Falls / Bridal Gown: Morilee via Abbott’s Bridal  / Bridesmaid Gowns: Kennedy Blue / Cake: Acme Fresh Market / Florist: Reilly’s Originals / Hair: Michele with MC Hair / Makeup: Abby with MC Hair

Pine Tree Barn Proposal with Molly and Matthew

On the same day as Jen and Tim’s engagement session I met up with Molly and Matthew!  After brunch at Pine Tree Barn Matthew took Molly for a walk to see the beautiful grounds at the restaurant.  Unbeknownst to Molly, I was hiding in wait and captured the moment that Matthew went down on one knee.  She looked my way at one point and I DOVE into a tree but popped back out when she looked away.  Their families were standing just far enough away to not clue her in and came in with HUGE smiles afterwards.

Once the giddiness of the proposal wore off we headed over to The College of Wooster to do a quick engagement session where they met!

As you will see, Molly was SO darn delighted and had the biggest grin all day!  It was such a delight to capture this moment for these two!
