I met Justine many years ago at Heidi’s wedding and we’ve ran into each other over the years at weddings were she’s done the makeup and events with Heidi. We met up for their engagement session a couple months ago and I was much looking forward to their wedding.
Their wedding day was so wonderful. The weather was absolute perfection and I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a prettier setup for a wedding ceremony outside. I adored Justine’s gown – I can’t wait to show it off in this post. It was so pretty, just like she is. It was just a picture perfect day and I was so pleased to have been a part of it. Thank you!

While the ‘traditional’ dress shot is always the one people want I do love trying to capture the view from below because it’s always so interesting to me!
Justine and her bridesmaids got ready in a large conference room that was bustling all day long.
Once everyone was ready we had enough time to get outside for a few portraits while Kelly remained hidden. The light was beautiful and it truly was a gorgeous day.
I adored Justine’s look from head to toe. Her hair was beautiful and romantic – I adored the pink rose tucked into her curls. The bouquet was amazing – Pink Petals really did an amazing job! Of course the dress was absolutely amazing and perfect for the wedding.
I also adored the gowns that Justine chose for the ladies. They were so flattering and beautiful! The flower girls also had beautiful ivory lace gowns which were wonderful!
The bouquets really tied everything in together beautifully.
Justine’s nieces were the flower girls and they had SO much fun all day.
See what I mean about the ceremony setup being gorgeous? I loved the different levels and all of the flowers.
I love Kelly’s huge smile when he saw Justine coming down the aisle.
Justine’s Dad won my heart, he was so proud and happy for Justine and there were many happy tears shed.
Such a pretty setting!
After the ceremony we didn’t have long for portraits and I must commend this bridal party for going with the flow and being so easy to work with!
The guys were in grey suits and I really love the look on everyone!
This cracked me – and Kelly! – up!
The light was just amazing all day!
LOVE this one!
This is why I call my ‘style’ “Photojournalist with a dash of Mom”. Because no matter how lovely the moments I capture are (see the Best Man sniffing the boutonniere above) the images like the one below are the ones that are framed and passed down to future generations.
It still doesn’t mean that I won’t throw in moments along with the traditional “look and smile” pictures. I also adore how the bouquet is being shown off here.
These two are just so darn sweet together!
I really love it when the table numbers are multi purpose. Here Justine and Kelly had booklets made with the table numbers. The guests at each table will write their wishes for the bride and groom and they’ll read them on the corresponding anniversary. SUCH a great idea.
Also I love the flowers and the varying vases. Such a beautiful setup!
This cake was perfection from Michael Angelo’s! I really love the gold details!
The toasts began and they were perfect!
After dinner the dancing was kicked off with the first dance.
The dance that was the most moving of the night though was Justine’s dance with her father. The whole room was either crying or fighting off tears. It was beautiful!
Kelly and his Mom had a less emotionally charged dance but it was just as lovely.
I got to play with the rings and I just adore Justine’s beautiful set!
Happy Anniversary to these two who celebrated their 7th year together just a few days later.
