* I have been really excited for this wedding for a while, a great location, super wonderful bride and a great vendor list!
* Kristin was one of the most relaxed brides I’ve ever had. EVER.
* She had not one, but TWO pair of Stuart Weitzman shoes for her wedding. One pair of stunning heels, one pair of flats.
* She’s definitely a kindred spirit.
* Jacob is a cool cat as well. It may have something to do with the fact that he’s a pilot. It takes a lot to rattle pilots I’d imagine.
* Kristin and Jacob got engaged under the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
* I bet at least two readers just went “awwwww.”
* Don’t worry, I did too when I found out.
* They saw each other before the wedding so we were able do to most of the shots (besides family pics) before the wedding which I love!
* It was bitterly cold (especially for this couple who now resides in sunny Florida) so all the pictures were indoors!
* My favorite part from the evening was being able to enjoy a Cupid Cupcake. DIVINITY! You are missing out if you haven’t had one.
* My second favorite? Seeing the bride and groom polka! SO FUN!
* Come back tomorrow for pics from the photo booth!
* Special thanks to my hubby for being my assistant at this wedding!

Kristin has a bit of help getting into her dress. Her dress reminded me of Gone With the Wind for some reason and I ADORED IT!

Aren’t these shoes stunning??!

However the shoes are definitely outmatched by this stunning couple!

I love when Jason Kelly does my brides makeup, their eyes always zing!!!

Kristin’s bouquet was a beautiful grouping of roses and orchids.

Both of the books were found in the shelf above, for her – “If Men Were Angels” and for him – “The Lady in White.” Quite fitting!

Definitely a good lookin’ bunch!

Gotta have the steamy-kiss-in-the-elevator shot!

…as well as a reflection shot!

Kristin was too darned cute walking down the aisle, every time she saw someone new she’d get a HUGE grin on her face and smile. Adorable!

They said their vows while the sun set behind them… while not quite outdoors it felt like it with all the warm light spilling in!

Exchanging the rings!

The first kiss! *smoochie*

One of the things that Kristin and Jacob had at their wedding, which I always love, is a kids room. Their kids room was just off the main ballroom (so that the parents had easy access to keep an eye on their youngsters) and had a candy buffet, games and pizza so that the kids had a place to go that wasn’t swamped with adults. Such a great idea!

Just a few of the amazing details at the reception including the favors, table decor and cupcakes! I really loved how the bridal party table was in the center of the room with the guests around them. It makes for such a great atmosphere and everyone feels more included!

Cake tasting… yum!

The Maid of Honor gives her toast, which was beautiful and funny!

Jacob’s brother though stole the show with a tearjerker of a toast!

Ring detail shot with some Paris themed candles in the background.

The first dance can be called the only blip of the night – some malfunction kept causing the song to stop but the bride and groom laughed and laughed! You have to love a couple that laugh when things don’t go perfectly!!!

Kristin’s bouquet was caught by her brother’s girlfriend who slid on her knees to catch it!

This flower girl was a CUTIE! She spun and spun all day long in her dress! However the cutest moment was when she spelled “O-H-I-O” along with everyone else during “Hang On Sloopy.”

Kristin and her bridesmaid kiss her bridesmaid’s new fiance on the cheek!

Kristin and Jacob polka-ing! My favorite part of the night!
Thanks for hiring me to be your photographer! I had a blast!!!!
