Brides Talk: Jennifer

I met Jennifer and David about a month before their wedding because of a sudden illness of their original photographer. I knew that they were in a time crunch and were also somewhat left in the lurch. I thought they were the cutest couple so I am so glad that I ended up being able to work with them on their wedding. They had SUCH a great wedding and reception. The emotions were raw and true and they also brought their doggies out for some pics! I had such a great time at their wedding, I don’t think I’ve ever felt so at ease at a reception before. SUCH great people and I am honored to have been the one to capture it!

I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason and that theory certainly applies to our photographer experience for our May 31, 2008 wedding. Photography was our number one priority for the wedding. That being the case nine months before the wedding we had secured a photographer. All of our planning was on track and we appeared to be on the home stretch. That is until we received a call that no bride ever wants to hear. With less than 2 months to go until the big day our original photographer had fallen ill and would not be able to shoot our wedding day. Panic immediately set in. We began to search for a new photographer that was both available and qualified. I found several positive bride reviews for Corey online and gave her a call. From the moment I met her I knew we were in good hands. The panic subsided. Corey not only willingly accepted our wedding, she also offered to match the package from our original contract. Wow! How nice is that! On the day of the wedding Corey was a trooper as we took her and her assistant from the church, to a park, to the beach at Cedar Point, inside Cedar Point (good thing she had comfortable shoes!) and to our reception at Kalahari Resort. Her shooting style was unobtrusive and made everyone in the wedding party feel at ease. Corey was there with us the all day and remained upbeat and professional the entire time.

The online proofs were ready by the time we returned from our honeymoon and we were in awe. The photos look so natural and the emotions are so real. (I hate to admit it but I think we look better in the photos than we do in person!) Every photo is better than the next. There are SO MANY photos that we love it has been nearly impossible to narrow them down to fit in an album! We feel very lucky to have had Corey as our wedding photographer. I would highly recommend her. You will not be disappointed! If there are any brides out there that would like more information about our experience using Corey, please feel free to email me at jen3873@yahoo.com.
