Last May I met back up with Jennifer and Aaron at the beautiful Stan Hwyet Hall and Gardens for their wedding in Akron. It was a beautiful day – perfect for an outdoor ceremony at the Tea Houses.
Jennifer and Aaron were such a dream to work with – super easy going and just full of smiles and love after their ceremony! The day could not have been any more perfect and we were able to bop around Stan Hywet after the ceremony for lots of photos before heading out to Guy’s Party Center for their celebration. Their family and friends were so excited to celebrate their wedding and the dance floor was packed thanks to One T! It was a great night! Thank you both for trusting me to capture your day.
Special shout out to their wonderful families who were so lovely to work with!
Ceremony: Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens / Reception: Guy’s Party Center / DJ: One T Entertainment
I started with the ladies who got ready at the carriage house at Stan Hywet.
Jennifer’s dress was GORGEOUS and I’m still obsessed with the straps which criss-crossed across the back.
Jennifer’s Mom helped her with the finishing touches, the veil was so perfect!
Isn’t she stunning?
This was one of Jennifer’s must-have photos and it was perfect!
Before we knew it it was time to walk down the aisle! Aaron was anxiously awaiting his bride.
Jennifer and her Dad made their way down the beautiful birch tree walkway and it was perfection.
The wedding took place between the tea houses and it was a beautiful service.
It’s sealed with a kiss!
If you’ve ever been to Stan Hywet in May you may know just how busy it is. There were multiple weddings, proms and regular visitors everywhere but these two were super easy going about trying to get photos where we could while making it seem it wasn’t so busy.
Still SO obsessed with how gorgeous their look was together! That dress! The grey suit! AHH! So pretty!
Walking back down the birch tree allee.
They are so darn adorable.
Every time I see this photo I smile.
Their wedding party was so much fun to work with and I am OBSESSED with the bridesmaids dresses.
How pretty are these ladies???
The navy and pink combo may be one of my favorites!
The guys looked pretty great too – I really love the combo of bow ties and suspenders!
We took a few more photos of just the Bride and Groom before we left for the reception.
How amazing is this cake?? I loved all of the floral details from the wedding and Jennifer’s AMAZING Mom did it all! Isn’t she so talented?!
The wine theme at the reception was perfect and so beautiful.
At the head table they had two wine barrels for the bridesmaids bouquets and I really loved the look vs. the usual vase for the bouquets. SO pretty!
The guys were a hoot, every time I looked over they were up to no good. LOL
Eventually it was time for toasts and they started out with a lot of giggles.
Then there was a few smiles and misty eyes…
…and the toasts ended with a lot more laughs.
After dinner the dancing started and their first dance was perfection!
The parent dances shortly followed and they were super sweet.
There were lots of giggles during the garter removal.
Everyone has their own method of madness for what happens after the garter and bouquet have been caught. One T Entertainment had a new twist on things by switching out a groomsman for the lady who caught the bouquet and it was HILARIOUS.
Once the formalities were over with the dance floor opened and it was PACKED!!
When the bride and groom get on the floor for “Shout” you know it’s a good party (and a great couple)!
Of course I had to play with the grapes and the rings before leaving!
