• This session was another one that had been rescheduled as well – the bad weather plus an attack of germs left us having to shift the date around. As always though, it ended up being a blessing in disguise as the weather was MUCH better and we were able to secure shooting at a great location!
• I have had so many weddings that I’ve ALMOST booked for Gervasi Vineyards but every time the client goes to book me I either am already booked or I get booked before they confirm the date! AUGH! Someday, someday! Until then, I am SO glad that I finally got to shoot an engagement session on their grounds (I did shoot a family session here last fall) since it’s such a romantic location and by far one of the most gorgeous in the area. Even if you aren’t looking for a photo location you MUST go here for some wine and food – their food is delicious but above that the wine is sublime.
• Laura has my dream job. She works at Coach. Ironically that is how we first met AFTER we booked (she’s another client that booked me without meeting). I had my eye on a bag and decided I HAD TO HAVE IT and she happened to be working and I recalled being told she worked at Coach. How fun is that?
• I love all of my clients (I really really do) but the ones from my hometown are the ones that always make my heart smile a bit more. What makes everything even better is that they are not only from here but getting married here in North Canton as well so it only made sense to keep their engagement session close to home as well.
• They were so ridiculously cute with each other, they barely needed any prompting from me and I LOVED it. I can not WAIT until their wedding day in June!!!
I love being able to do spring engagement sessions when the trees are blooming!!!
I LOVED these tulips at Gervasi! So gorgeous and lovely!
You knew a “Mom Shot” was coming right?
FAVORITE!
I had to do a ring shot inside the tulip!
There was this cute little apple orchard on site that was in bloom, so lovely!
While most portraits are of the faces, I always love to capture the body language of people in love – especially hands. To me they often speak volumes!
Laura is going to be such a stunning bride!!
They are just too darned cute!!!!
