St. Nicholas Banquet Center Wedding with Emily and Zach

Bride and groom posing on the porch at Hoover Historical Center on their wedding day.

Whew – finally to the last wedding of 2021 and what a great day it was with Emily and Zach! They got married at St. Paul Catholic Church in North Canton and followed that with photos at the Hoover Historical Center as it was drizzly before heading to their wedding reception at St. Nicholas Banquet Center  in Uniontown.

Their day was so fun – this bridal party was an absolute blast and no one complained when I drug them outside for photos on a wintery day that was misty and raining off and on. They just had fun with it and made everything so much better. I’m still laughing at the photo of Emily & Zach kissing with the Best Man rolling his eyes!!  I also LOVED that Emily came prepared for the winter and wore burgundy Doc Martin boots under her dress for their photos outside (she changed into cute burgundy mary jane flats at the reception).

I adored all the pretty lights at St. Nicholas that gave the wedding a bit more glow and a nod to Christmas without being overt about the upcoming holiday. The gingerbread cake topper was such a clever idea!!! Of course the shoe game was a huge hit with all the guests.

Most of all though, Emily and Zach were just a joy to work with. Many belated congratulations to the both of you!!!

Brookside Country Club Wedding with Natalie and John

Bride and Groom at Brookside Country Club in Canton Ohio on their wedding day

Natalie and John were another couple who intended to wed in 2020 but due to the restrictions placed at the end of the year they opted to have a small wedding ceremony near their home with close family and then do a bigger celebration a year later. I loved seeing how different couples embraced the curveball that the pandemic threw at them and these two definitely did.

Natalie’s whole ensemble is one of the most stunning I’ve ever photographed. Just wait until you see it. SO elegant and chic!  I’m still a bit sad we couldn’t take photos outside but the winds were CRAZY that day and the rains were even worse. It was just such an Ohio day that it wasn’t worth risking ruining hair/makeup/dresses for but it all worked out ok!

As with all Greek weddings, their dance floor was packed all night long!

These two were so much fun to work with (and I got to photograph them again this year with their newest addition!) and I’m so glad that they were finally able to have the big celebration!

Ceremony: St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church / DJ: Billy Mannos / Hair: AW Salon / Reception: Brookside Country Club

Winter Rivercrest Farm Wedding with Keihen and Craig

Bride and Groom at the hilltop at Rivercrest Farm on their wedding day.

I have long wanted to photograph a wedding at Rivercrest Farm and I was so delighted to finally be able to do so with Keihen and Craig!! They had a December wedding that was cool but not miserable which meant that we also got to go outside and do some photos before the sun set. Thankfully they did a first look so we could take advantage of the light and location!

I adore when my clients don’t feel forced to stick to gendered sides for a bridal party and it was so fun to have bridesmen alongside the bridesmaids! This whole bridal party was an absolute hoot and it was also my first time having some Petal Dudes and they LIVED IT UP.

The whole day was just a joy and it was so much fun. Thank you both for trusting me to be your photographer!

Ceremony & Reception: Rivercrest Farm / Bridal Gown: Lavender Bridal Salon / Bridesmaids Gowns: David’s Bridal / Cake: Jes McConville / Catering: City BBQ / DJ: On the Mic Entertainment / Florist: Paper Twigs / Hair & Makeup: Rig & Co / Menswear: Adam’s Mens Clothier
