First off – if you happened upon my blog during the ‘oops’ phase I apologize. I was trying to add something to it and killed my blog. Thankfully I was able to get it restored back to its state from the day before. Problem was that meant that I lost a blog post. Since it’s hit all the readers I have not reposted it yet… but intend to soon.
Now… back to the blogging (insert here gripes about being behind, apologizing and promising to do better!).
I have been looking forward to this wedding for such a long time – pretty much from the instant I booked it but ever so much more after their super fun engagement session last year. The day was perfect, not a drop of rain to be seen and none of that icky humidity that Ohio can bring out in full force on sunny days! Tracy was SUCH a beautiful bride… I adored every single thing about her ensemble!!! Dan is the sweetest guy and together they are such a joy to watch! You can tell that they are absolutely meant to be together!
I have to gush though about the details of this wedding. I walked into the reception and I about keeled over from the excitement of the beauty before me. WOW!!!!!!!!! That’s all I can say is WOW! I’m now going to hush so you can get onto the pictures and see what I mean about this amazing couple, the amazing wedding and the AMAZINGNESS that was this day!
It goes without saying that I am so thankful and blessed to have been your photographer Tracy and Dan!!! Thank you!
Vendors I was honored to work with:
Band: The Sellouts
Cake Artist: Wild Flour Bakery
Ceremony: Old Stone Church
Florist: Prestige Floral
Photo Op Stop One: East 4th Street
Photo Op Stop Two: Voinovich Park
Reception/Catering: The Club at Key Center
Transportation: Mr. A1 Limo
I LOVE getting pictures of the bride getting her makeup done!!! I think it’s probably because the makeup artists think like photographers and love natural light.
You know I also adore shoe shots and Tracy had some adorable kickers!
Stepping into the shoes and getting the final touches done! Another favorite time!
The Old Stone Church is simply STUNNING inside. STUNNING.
The new Mr & Mrs!!
Our first stop was at East 4th Street and this shot is one of my ultimate favorites from the day! I wanted to stop here with Sarah and Zack but some hecklers made that impossible so I’m glad that the white dress made an improvement on people’s attitudes on East 4th!!!
Another shot I love!
A shot I took off the cuff as they were getting back to the limo, I love it!
Tina at Prestige Floral did an AMAZING job with the flowers!
One of the pictures Tracy requested!
The look of love never goes out of style.
Wow is about all I can say. Tracy’s stunning red and black wedding was pulled together in the most elegant bow with the reception decor.
The detail that made this whole scenario POP was a single red rose folded into a napkin at each placesetting. LOVE.
The stunning – and delicious – cake courtesy of Wild Flour Bakery.
Kim, the bride’s sister and Maid of Honor, gives a toast to Tracy & Dan.
Tracy wiping a tear after her sister’s emotional toast… which made the entire room tear up.
Gotta have a ring shot 😉
The first dance!
So sweet and special… ahh!!!
The Sellouts take the floor and let me tell you, they were AWESOME!!!! I’m not just saying that because they are the first band EVER to save food for the photographers (!) but they also were just seriously awesome. If you are looking to hire a band for your wedding that isn’t the standard jazzy-style and plays stuff that you love and can boogie to give them a call!!!!
Shake your groove thing!
A tradition that has gone around this group of friends is for this groomsman to sing “The Humpty Dance” at the reception. I laughed SO hard but he was SO GOOD! It was a RIOT and I wish more groomsman had fun stuff like this up their sleeves!!!
