Event | Kayla & Tyler’s Surprise 16th Birthday

Sorry for the blog silence – I was in Colorado for the past week on a super secret mission!  I flew out to photograph my friend Jill’s son (and his BFF’s) surprise 16th birthday party.  I rarely hear of surprise parties actually going off without a hitch and luckily this one did!  While we were in town we also did a bit of toursity things (my husband had never been to Colorado before) and a family shoot for Jill the day following the party.

I loved the cake SO much!  The notes actually played Happy Birthday if you followed the notes around the cake.
