On the very last day of May, I had the joy of meeting back up with Michael and Andrea for their wedding at the Kirtland Country Club. I’ve been looking forward to this day ever since their engagement session last October and I was not disappointed. They are such a sweet and wonderful couple and ridiculously easy to work with. Anything I suggested they were game for which made for a fun day. The weather could NOT have been any more perfect – you never know what you’re going to get in Ohio, especially in May. It was sunny, not humid and just warm enough for everyone to enjoy the cocktail hour outside but cool enough that everyone wasn’t clustered around the a/c all night. The decor was absolutely breathtaking – from the peonies, to the candles, to the setting that is the beautiful Kirtland Country Club – it was simply beautiful.

I started my day out with the ladies at the Kirtland Country Club in one of my FAVORITE “getting ready” rooms I’ve ever been in for a wedding. I was there before with Michael and Lawren and it’s just as beautiful as it was then. I love the special relationship that Andrea has with her Mom and her sister. They helped her get ready and everyone was teary eyed by the end – including me.
This may be one of my most favorite “first look” images ever.
Once they did their first look we headed out onto the course for some more portraits. Getting to this bridge may have been a bit of an interesting drive but the results were worth it.
Just over the bridge was this gorgeous little field of grass with beautiful light and they went right in when I asked. THANK YOU!
I couldn’t decide which of these to blog so you get both. PS: How amazing is Andrea’s bouquet?!?
These two have such a sweet relationship. LOVE!
Aren’t they adorable? I loved Andrea’s earrings.
A couple more potraits before we headed back to the club.
I am pretty much obsessed with these bridesmaid gowns from J Crew. How awesome is the back1?!
The guys looked pretty good as well!
Such a great bridal party!
After getting all of the family portraits done before the guests arrived, it was finally time to walk down the aisle! I loved Andrea’s smile when she saw Michael waiting for her.
I love this church, so light and beautiful!
After freshening up, the ladies headed back down to see the ballroom and go to the cocktail hour. I love this picture of Andrea on the stairs!
I loved the reception decor! So beautiful!
These centerpieces were even more amazing in person. The pink and green were a perfect complement to the room’s decor.
I think they were excited to get into their reception? LOL!
The toasts were perfection.
I nabbed a piece of cake later on, it was delicious!!!
It is so adorable that Andrea’s Mom popped in for the last few beats of the Father/Daughter dance.
These two were so stinkin’ cute dancing together. Michael’s Mom was grinning all day!
Needless to say, Park Place was a great band!!!
Thank you both so much for trusting me to capture your day! <3
