Whew. Jacquie and Chris had the most popular wedding date that I may have seen in the past 15 years! 10/10/2020 was SUCH a hot date. Combine a cool “date” with the most popular time of year for weddings in Ohio and BOOM. Then add a pandemic… ooph.

While they never had to give up their date they did have to do some shifting of their original plans due to the pandemic which also threw at them their original venue (American-Croatian Lodge) closing. Since they had a large guest list it was tricky finding a venue that fit their guest count AND was in the area they needed to be in. Luckily Patrician Catering worked out and everything went well!

The day of their wedding was perfection. The weather was wonderful, the wedding went off without a hitch and everyone was healthy! WHEW!

I started my day with Jacquie and the girls while they were getting ready and then we did a ‘first touch’ with her and Chris once we got to Divine Word. I love when my clients do first touches because it always seems to calm everyone’s nerves down! After the ceremony we headed to Downtown Willoughby and did some photos there before they took a break at the Wild Goose for some snacks and drinks before finishing up photos at Chagrin River Park. We ended the night at Patrician Catering which has so many lovely details around the room! Their dances made me SO happy and you’ll smile too as soon as you see the photos. Jacquie is SO expressive it made everything so much more fun!
