• One thing I absolutely loved about this wedding was how much laughter and happiness there was! I seriously can’t think of many more weddings where so much laughs were had. It was such a joy to be there that day!
• My trusty sidekick Nicole was able to come and work with me since the hubs had to work. It was lovely having her again and I hope we work together more this year!
• When the girls were getting ready all over the house I was able to chat with Rita’s grandmother a bit and it was so wonderful to hear all the stories about the jewelry she was lending Rita that day (it came from her father!). I love stories of heirlooms like that!!!
• Rita’s dad is also an electrician with the IBEW so they are all definitely kindred spirits! It’s funny how all the electricians I know have the best sense of humors!
• Rita’s uncle was their officiant and I just LOVE when someone that is close to the couple is, the service is always so personal and tailored to the couple. There was a few tears but also a lot of laughs during the service which not only makes for great memories but great photographs!

Rita’s Mom and Grandmother help her get into her dress and Rita is laughing – I LOVE her laugh!
James seeing his beautiful bride for the first time!
One of Rita’s bridesmaids was taken away by the beauty of the service, see what I mean about great pics?
A stolen grin during a prayer!
While I was focusing on the Bride and Groom, Nicole captured this image of this cutie walking off a bit of her energy during the ceremony.
There’s that lovely laugh again!
The bubble exit went off perfect, the winds really cooperated to make the sea of bubbles float in the air around them.
After the exit and family formals we were off to Squire’s Castle for some picture time. While it was a smidge past peak for leaves, it was still a pretty place to be.
I say this a lot but I really love jewel tones in the fall!! These girls were so pretty and these dresses zing against the fall backdrop!
I love this moment of between-poses “squee” between Rita and her sister.
Group hug!!!!
Nicole captured this Facebook profile shot being taken while I was working with the groom.
I love love love the laugh. Sure, I have this pose in “serious” mode but I love this one SO much more.
This makes me yearn for a walk in the woods with the crispy leaves crunching beneath my feet.
This may be my favorite… it’s hard to choose. Unscripted forehead kisses are my favorite!
We’re back in the field at Squire’s Castle again… no great light due to an overcast “Ohio” sky but it’s still pretty!
The entrance into the reception was one of the crazier ones I’ve seen.
They were super excited to celebrate!
The cake smash was smashing… it took a bit of finagling to get the cake out of Rita’s hair without messing it up!
The first dance was enchanting and perfect!
They also did a traditional Italian Wedding March which was INSANITY but so amazing and awesome!
Yet another “LOVE” ring shot.
I can’t decide if I like the one above or this one better… so I’m keeping them both 🙂
Thank you Rita and James for hiring me, you guys made me smile all day long and were such a joy to work with!

Love the second ring shot, althought the first one is a very close second. Beautiful work Cory!
That little girl in her boots is just a-dorable! Great ring shots too 😉
Nice work, I love the emotion in your images. The wedding party taking the cell phone photo is one of my favs.
Shaun
I love the ring shots too. Great color in the trees, My wife and I had a fall wedding last October. What macro did you use for the ring shots? They are amazing!
