From the spring-like colors of the wedding party and decor to the beautiful blue skies and warm sun, this wedding from beginning to end was the perfect spring wedding. No snow to be found for THIS day!
Allison and Jonathan were so easy to work with! There were a couple bumps in the road when getting ready but even despite that both Allison and Jonathan were really calm and just excited to marry one another. The rest of the day was smooth sailing and there wasn’t a single bump to be found. The weather also was so wonderful that I can’t imagine a better day for an April wedding in Ohio. The sunset even was pretty awesome and the timing was perfect for a quick trip outside to get some pictures with it.
Thank you both (and your families!) for being so wonderful to work with!

I love that they chose to write letters to each other!
One of Jon’s groomsman had a bit of an issue with the tie… You Tube to the rescue!
I loved the grey ties on the guys!
Allison’s dress was GORGEOUS! I loved the lace!
Her Mom and sister helped get her dress and it was perfection!
For her something old Allison had a wrap for her bouquet that has been carried on many generations of her family’s brides as well as a family rosary.
I really loved the simple and elegant programs. That font is gorgeous!
These kiddos were so cute! The girls were so serious about their petal dropping and did a great job when walking up the aisle.
Jon sees his bride!
There were a lot of people to see for Allison before she made it to Jonathan.
I loved this flower girl who watched the ceremony in awe with M&Ms in hand.
Such a great chapel with tons of light!
Time for the ring exchange which went flawlessly!
I loved this moment between Jonathan and Allison as he checked out his new ring.
Congratulations!!
The skies literally could not have been any more perfect for their bubble exit from the ceremony!
After family formals we went outside for some pictures on the campus and I loved one of the last ones we did with a dip in front of the chapel at Walsh University. The tulips were beautiful and perfectly in bloom.
After hitting some of their favorite spots from their time at Walsh, we headed across the street to the Hoover Historical Society.
I looooovved the back of Allison’s dress. The lace is so beautiful!
Allison was a beauty of a bride – I also loved her peach bouquet. It was the perfect touch.
I had to get a detail shot with just the bouquet but it also shows off the beautiful belt as well.
The guys all looked quite dapper in their sunglasses.
I loved this one of the guys though the best. Makes me smile every time! They were a fun group.
These ladies looked amazing in their long peach gowns.
I really liked how the bouquets played with the colors of the dresses and the greenery outside.
There was one beautifully blooming tree near the street and luckily they were game to going into the grass for some images.
I adore the almost kiss pose.
One last stop at the porch with all of the amazing tulips before heading to Chenoweth!
The ballroom at Chenoweth Golf Course for the wedding was beautifully decorated. I really loved how the floral arrangements and chair sashes tied in the peach and grey theme.
For their sweets table they had cake but also tons of cookies and these yummy doughnuts! So smart!
Homemade cannoli!! I may have tried one later on and it was amazing!
The toasts were equally charming, funny and sweet with lots of laughs.
The cake cutting went off without a hitch!
Their first dance also was perfection!
Once the reception was underway I played with the rings for a bit and really loved how this image turned out.
When I was on my way to return the rings I looked outside and noticed that the sunset was looking really awesome so I asked if they wanted to pop out for some quick portraits with the sunset. Thankfully they obliged!
This image was also featured on the Huffington Post!
The dance floor was packed while La Flavor played and this flower girl was tearing it up out there! I loved how she kept twirling over and over all night long.
Before I left they had some traditional wedding dances and the tarantella was one of them and it was so fun to photograph!
