? This is my final wedding for 2009 – unless I get a surprise one before the end of the year!
? Heather ironically found me via a comment I left on a photo of her reception location on Flickr. It always surprises me how people find me!
? I have to say that I loved this wedding a lot. The cutest church. The coolest get-away car. A couple that is willing to climb a tree for pictures. It was such a great way to end another amazing year of business.
? I wasn’t able to take pictures during the ceremony which was a first for me. It was nice though to enjoy the ceremony without worrying about capturing it.
? My husband, Chris, was my second shooter and he did a great job!
? This wedding spawned two new obsessions. I am obsessed with her maid of honor’s dress and if anyone can find me a link to this dress, you win a free portrait session from me. No joke. I also became obsessed with the perfume that the maid of honor let Heather borrow for the day of her wedding, Pacifica Waikiki Pikake. I came home and ordered it that night. I have it and LOVE LOVE LOVE it and want all of the scents now because of how awesome this one is.
? Please COMMENT – I will be donating one can of food to the Akron Canton Regional Foodbank for each comment received through December 15th! More info here.

Brides I’m going to warn you of this right now, days of weddings rarely go as planned – especially when time lines are concerned. When I arrived at the B&B where Heather was getting ready, she was still at the salon and her hair had just been started and they were about an hour behind. Since I had the location of the salon in her questionnaire, I headed off to the salon and surprised Heather by showing up there. I didn’t feel right just hanging about while she wasn’t too far away getting beautified! I’m glad that I went because I love documenting the entire transformation of the bride from everyday beautiful to wedding day stunning!
This window just SCREAMED “shoe shot” to me.
Chris got this neat shot of the awesome getaway car through the church door.
I loovveeee this dress.
Another shot that Chris captured that I loved of Heather moments before she walked down the aisle.
I’m glad I was able to capture this moment before I had to stop taking pictures.
While the first kiss is always important, I typically love the embrace that happens after it just a bit more.
Another fun image from Chris of me shooting an entire group shot of Heather & Brian and their guests in front of the church.
Heather giving a heartfelt hug to her brother… she started crying as soon as she saw him. I love moments like these (especially when I’m in the right place at the right time!).
By far the coolest getaway car of the year! This is the groom’s uncle’s car.
They had to pull over part way down the road to put the top up so Heather’s hair didn’t get messed up and I was lucky enough to be behind them so I raced up and got a shot of them kissing before they put the top up!
The comment I left on flickr was on a picture at this exact spot of the farm so it’s only appropriate that I took a shot there!
Even though the gardens were dead, this was still such a great location to shoot at!
Heather and Brian sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!!
I love that Heather planned ahead and brought boots to take pictures in!! Aren’t they CUTE?!? And you had NO clue until now she was rockin’ these instead of heels!
The light in the field behind the reception barn was magical. I love this shot SO much.
The bridal party. I love that they had one person on each side – so did we! Sidenote that the Best Man could be a brother of my Father in Law. It was almost scary how much they looked alike and acted alike.
I loved the color of this bush and luckily there was a bench right in front of it!
Brian’s daughter was teased by Michael Kelsey so afterwards Brian gave her a sweet kiss for being a good sport.
First Dance!
Groom and daughter dance… so sweet!
Rings in flowers…
… and rings on the guestbook pen!

LOVE this wedding entry! You just keep getting even more amazing!
Oh I love their getaway car. So cute.
What a great way to end 2009. Inspiring as always 🙂 Please tell your husband he’s got some great artistic vision!
The pictures posted of Brian and Heather are truly awesome. You were able to capture so much of the personality of the bride and groom. I was honored to have attended this wedding. Great pictures!

Awww well you can always do a family session 😉 Thank you!
