Lauren and David’s wedding day which ended at the beautiful Pine View Acres was a day full of love! Not only of the love they share but the love of their families as well which was lovely to see. That love was also what fueled the energy that went into so much of the beautiful handmade details from the wedding! When I walked into the reception I audibly gasped because it was so beautiful and amazing! Just wait until you see it!
All day these two just had an ease about them which was lovely to see and to be around. There were no nerves, just excitement and joy! Thank you both for trusting me with your wedding day!
Bakery: Buehler’s / Bridal Gown: Maggie Sottero via Doreen Leaf Designs / Ceremony: Chapel of the Cross United Methodist Church / Florist: Com-Patt-Ibles / Food Truck: Phillybuster Food Truck / Reception: Pine View Acres / String Quartet: Divertimento String Quartet
While I was waiting for everyone to arrive I wandered around the church and got acquainted with the Reverend. Rev Bob is perhaps the kindest Reverend I’ve had the pleasure of working with! I hope that I get to return to his church again soon!
Such a fun church to photograph!
It’s been a while since I’ve had a wine box during the ceremony and I was pleased to see they were doing one!
This was custom made and I LOVED it!
Finally everyone arrived and Lauren got dressed. Then it was veil time – how gorgeous is this veil!?
I absolutely and completely adored Lauren’s Dad. He really reminded me of my own father and he was SO proud of his little girl.
Also you must check out that amazing bouquet!!
The ceremony was absolute perfection!
David made a slight adjustment to Lauren’s hand before she nailed in her side of the wine box.
The kiss!
The rain was very quickly moving in so I rushed the guests out so we could get the rose petal toss in before the storm let loose. We got very lucky and the timing couldn’t have been better because just as they got in the getaway truck, the skies opened! Whew!
If you look closely you can see the raindrops.
Luckily Lauren’s parents have an overhang at their barn and we were able to still get some photos in before heading over to the reception.
I loved all the details that Lauren had for their photos!
Don’t worry – we were very very safe with these!
Then it was time to head over to Pine View Acres for their wedding reception! How neat is this backdrop for the head table?
The centerpieces all were quite awesome as well, I loved the way all the lights twinkled.
The cake and cookies went on forever!
Another unique card box!
I could have made this post JUST of the details!
This cake stand!?? SO amazing! I loved their initials carved into it!
Finally it was time to get the reception underway and Lauren’s Dad kicked off the evening with a sweet toast.
After a delicious dinner with the FOOD TRUCK (I now think every wedding needs a food truck) it was time for the cake cutting. It was perfect!
The dances kicked off with Lauren and David’s first dance.
Next up were the parent dances which were perfection!
The rest of the evening was spent with everyone chatting and visiting and I was able to get a moment with the rings before our time was up and it’s one of my favorites to date!
